Love this thing for around town! My daughter SUCKS at going potty before we head out, and finding a clean bathroom isn’t always easy. This thing is amazing. We just got it but already we’ve used it multiple times! We used it at grandma and grandpa’s (they’re vaccinated! Yay!!) house on the toilet and in the parking lot of our favorite local park so we didn’t have to use the not so clean public one. My kid is already potty trained, so I didn’t use it for that purpose, though I’m sure it’s great. Clean up is easy, just a quick wipe does the job. I am actually thinking of getting another one to keep in my husband’s car. I carry it around in the baby bag, but I don’t always need a baby bag for quick trips around town. Keeping one in each car might just be easier.

Great for small kids and big kids when your traveling. No need to stop or wait for the next rest stop. Folds up nicely.

My husband and I took a road trip to the Black Hills with our 2.5 year old who started potty training about 3 months ago. I bought this toilet to bring along in the car or carry around for hiking in our day bag. It was the best investment! We got the most use out of it to put on top of other toilets to make it more comfortable for her to go pee and poop in state park bathrooms and even national park bathrooms. Badlands National Park i got her to go poop in the bathroom that you dont want to look down in with the help of this toilet. It was also handy when we were in our hotel, restaurants or gas station bathrooms. Our kid was accident free all 5 days we were on our trip. Id say it was mostly thanks to this toilet right here! Highly recommend for traveling, it folds up nice and is easy to use. I might just keep in my car going forward and will have it for future road trips or travel.

I bought this as soon as I realized it existed, which was before we even started potty training. The quality is solid and it feels much sturdier than I expected! My kid decided very suddenly that they were finished wearing diapers, so potty training began and this OXO potty has been a life saver! What’s more, my child loves using it! Highly recommend to any parent of a toddler. Buy this one!

I bought this to keep in the car and total long on outings so that my three-year-old can continue potty training and not rely on pull-ups. It has been a game-changer! It is fast to set up, very stable once the child sits down, and is definitely easy to clean up when used with the appropriate bags. Its lightweight and slender enough that I put it in my beach bag, hauled it in a backpack around Boston, and now just keep it in my car with extra bags. There have been some close calls, and this sets up in a flash but also folds up to put away quickly (and only folds up when you want due to solid snap buttons) as well. I thought I would be wiping the seat every time but with bags, you dont have to wipe a thing except your child! Get this for all your excursions!

OMG!! A coworker told me about this when I was mentioning to her my apprehension about driving to our family reunion being that my 3 year old son had finally started adapting to not going potty in his pullups. She immediately said this was a lifesaver and she takes it everywhere. So I ordered it, not really having high hopes, but figuring Id give it a try. OMG, OMG, OMG!! Do you know the whole time we were driving my son told me like 4 times that he had to peepee (4 times is a lot because it was only a 4 hour drive). I think he saw it as a game. Dad was driving and I was sitting in the back with him and 1 year old daughter. I think he enjoyed being pulled out of carseat and placed on potty while in the car. We had him wear a pullup just incase, but he didnt go in pullup, he was thrilled to use this new invention. Having said all of that, it is very easy to use, it folds in flat and comes in a thick drawstring durable plastic bag. It also comes with a few disposable bags that have an absorbent pad attached to the inside base to help retain the mess. The reusable bags are designed to be pulled over potty and drop down inside to catch waste. This is great for road trips, as well as everyday here and theres. You can use it in a restaurant if your child needs to go but you dont feel comfortable with them sitting on the public toilet seat or anywhere else at that, because not only does this fold out as a standing potty, but the legs hyperextend out to create arms that allow it to balance across a toilet, (ofcourse when you balance it on a toilet you wont need to use the bags.) I definitely recommend this if you are potty training your little one or even if you have a toddler and are a germaphobe about public bathrooms. Buy it! You wont regret it!

I was about to start potty training by 2 year old (27 months) and a friend recommended this product. YOU NEED IT. After the first several days of potty training, my daughter was doing well and we wanted to begin to take walks to the playground etc, and within the first two weeks we were going out to dinner at restaurants and taking an hour long drive to a vineyard in our area. When your child says they need to go, you need to be able to be able to give them a success, and this potty ensures you are never out of luck. We used the bags and had her sit on the potty in our trunk, in a parking lot, at a park, and then when we arrive to our destination, the potty folds open to become a seat that you can set on a public adult toilet! Then you just tie off the bag (if you used one) and toss it like a doggy bag. It is easy to clean and folds up small enough to fit in a diaper bag. I will recommend to every friend who is potty training!

I am SO happy with this purchase. It is seriously the best $20 Ive ever spent. I began potty training my 2.5 year old daughter 3 weeks ago and this was a LIFE SAVER. We needed to travel 2.5 hours away only 1 week after starting training. Thankfully this showed up at our door right as we were leaving for our trip! We went to my parents lakehouse. It was so nice being able to use the same potty seat for the entire trip. She used this potty at restaurants, convenient store, the lake house, and once on the side of the road! It fits in her little back pack perfectly, which is SO nice! This really helped my daughter learn to go potty in public because she was terrified of new potties at first. I hope to not have to use this travel potty in public restrooms forever but for this early potty training stage it has been a must! My daughter has gotten better and better at going potty in public, and I really feel like its bc she has had this same seat no matter where she is. Highly highly highly reccomend it! It is extremely easy to use and clean and has been stable on a wide variety of potties.

So there I was...in the middle of Ohio on our first roadtrip with the toddler, also 6 months pregnant with kid #2. Drinking lots of water because duh, I was pregnant. Suddenly traffic on the Interstate comes to a screeching halt....and we are nowhere near an exit. My pregnant self immediately decides it has to pee....and HOW! Waze helpfully tells me its 45 minutes to the next exit - no bueno. Pregnant self is insistent...and then I remember I have this awesome toilet seat in the back of the car for our son to use. I did not hesitate to grab that sucker out of the trunk and bring it up to the passenger seat - because of course, we are stuck in a sea of semis and other vehicles at this point, so I cant get out and use it roadside. You have truly not lived until youve tried to levitate your 6-month pregnant butt above a travel car seat in front of your son and significant other. Anyway, it wasnt even all that hard to maneuver, its just that I was laughing so hard at the situation, which of course only served to exacerbate said situation. Point is, it works great as a kids travel potty, especially in unfamiliar hotels with unfamiliar toilets, as well as in Cracker Barrel parking lots. But dont discount its usefulness for adults in need as well. :)

We never use it as a stand-alone potty. We’re not there yet but it works great on the toilet and travels well. We use the storage bag and pop it right in the front zipper of the suitcase.

Be prepared for on-the-go potty emergencies with the OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Potty. The Potty opens quickly and easily and works alone (with disposable bags), or as a seat that rests on top of toilets. The legs lock at the ideal height for growing tots, and soft, flexible flaps hold disposable bags securely in place. Three disposable bags with absorbent pads are included, and refills are available, plus the Potty can accommodate standard plastic bags in a pinch. The legs fold all the way out and non-slip grips keep the Potty stable on round or elongated public toilets. The small seat is sized for little bottoms and the generous shield prevents splatter. The smooth surfaces are easy to clean and the legs fold in, allowing the Potty to fit into the included travel bag for storage in cars, strollers or diaper bags.
