I am SO happy with this purchase. It is seriously the best $20 Ive ever spent. I began potty training my 2.5 year old daughter 3 weeks ago and this was a LIFE SAVER. We needed to travel 2.5 hours away only 1 week after starting training. Thankfully this showed up at our door right as we were leaving for our trip! We went to my parents lakehouse. It was so nice being able to use the same potty seat for the entire trip. She used this potty at restaurants, convenient store, the lake house, and once on the side of the road! It fits in her little back pack perfectly, which is SO nice! This really helped my daughter learn to go potty in public because she was terrified of new potties at first. I hope to not have to use this travel potty in public restrooms forever but for this early potty training stage it has been a must! My daughter has gotten better and better at going potty in public, and I really feel like its bc she has had this same seat no matter where she is. Highly highly highly reccomend it! It is extremely easy to use and clean and has been stable on a wide variety of potties.

Great for both uses! We mainly use it when we’re out of the house but we’ve used it as both a standalone potty (on a trail at a park where we weren’t close to a bathroom) as well as in public bathrooms. If I have time in a public bathroom, I try to put down a toilet seat barrier (also purchased on Amazon) just to try to keep the bottom of the seat clean but I think this seat is way to wipe down and clean. I keep disinfecting wipes on hand when I’m out so I can wipe it down quickly before putting it away. Love that it comes with a carry bag…it’s a must for something like this but not all seats come with one. The only thing that I don’t love is that I find it a little difficult pushing the button while pulling out the legs all the way to the side (for use on a toilet) so it takes longer to do that when seconds count with little kids. I wished that I could just click the button twice and they would pop out to the right position (i.e. one click for stand-alone and two clicks for toilet). I still recommend this though because it’s sturdy, won’t pinch, fairly quick and mostly easy to set up, easy to clean and comes with a carry bag. If anyone from OXO is reading this, please consider the improvement I mentioned since second count when heading to the potty with a little one.

Never before children did I think I’d have a potty in my car, alas, here I am, and I’m reviewing it. This is the travel potty you never knew you needed, until you are potty training and are afraid to let your child ride in the car without a pull-up on. Alas, you have arrive at this product and possibly this review. You don’t think you need this until you are leaving your daycare facility, and get on the highway (which is about a 35 minute ride from home, and the next potty stop is a good 25 mins away) and you ensured your very adorable tiny tot has relieved themselves before hitting road, to only just pass through the toll booth and hear “I NEED TO GO POTTY!!!” To which you reply: “you just went at daycare can you hold it?” And tiny tot says: “NO ITS ALMOST COMING OUT!!” If this sounds like you, than this little port-a-pot for tots is just up your alley. It’s a stand alone little pot, so if you’re outside somewhere discrete you can let them pee on the ground, OR if you can’t do that, then they have amazing little absorbent bags that attach to this little pot to catch it all and tie it up (please take it home and discard of it properly, we’re all humans here, or so I hope). But wait!!!! there’s more!!! It’s convent to use in the trunk, or on the back seat for added privacy for your tiny tot, and even folds out to be a tot spot on a regular big pot. If you’ve gotten this far, for real it has been a life saver for my 3 year old in the long car rides to and from daycare daily, and when visiting friends. Happy Potty training families!

This portable potty has worked great for our 2 year old while potty training. It folds up so compactly that I keep it in the hollow compartment of my SUVs trunk for on-the-go emergencies. I use plastic bags with a folded paper towel at the base and then tie and toss it (but I know that there are liner bags specific for this for sale on here.) I definitely recommend this!

This potty has been a life saver. We keep it in the car and I also throw it in the stroller when we go on walks or to the park and I know there won’t be a bathroom close by. Super easy to use

Great for on the go emergency potty stops. We used it when were potty training, out and about without a convient toilet. Now we use it for road trips when we are nowhere near a toilet. Would recommend use in 6 years and under

This has saved us many times. Super easy to use, store, and clean. The liners soak everything up and holds any smell until you can properly dispose! I have recommended to many mom friends!

I was about to start potty training by 2 year old (27 months) and a friend recommended this product. YOU NEED IT. After the first several days of potty training, my daughter was doing well and we wanted to begin to take walks to the playground etc, and within the first two weeks we were going out to dinner at restaurants and taking an hour long drive to a vineyard in our area. When your child says they need to go, you need to be able to be able to give them a success, and this potty ensures you are never out of luck. We used the bags and had her sit on the potty in our trunk, in a parking lot, at a park, and then when we arrive to our destination, the potty folds open to become a seat that you can set on a public adult toilet! Then you just tie off the bag (if you used one) and toss it like a doggy bag. It is easy to clean and folds up small enough to fit in a diaper bag. I will recommend to every friend who is potty training!

Be prepared for on-the-go potty emergencies with the OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Potty. The Potty opens quickly and easily and works alone (with disposable bags), or as a seat that rests on top of toilets. The legs lock at the ideal height for growing tots, and soft, flexible flaps hold disposable bags securely in place. Three disposable bags with absorbent pads are included, and refills are available, plus the Potty can accommodate standard plastic bags in a pinch. The legs fold all the way out and non-slip grips keep the Potty stable on round or elongated public toilets. The small seat is sized for little bottoms and the generous shield prevents splatter. The smooth surfaces are easy to clean and the legs fold in, allowing the Potty to fit into the included travel bag for storage in cars, strollers or diaper bags.
