> 3 dayMy child used this on our trip to a friends house, we used it at the airport or the plane and at their home. It is very versatile and a great way to keep your child off those dirt toilet seats. It is a bit unsteady when laid flat on a toilet seat, if the child wiggles around, but in all I think it serves its purpose and would recommend. The seat is also a good size, wasnt too small or too big. My child is pretty small in the bum bum area.

Greater than one weekOur daughter bought one of these to take with her in the back of her car since her 3 yr old old recently was potty-trained. We bought one to keep in the back of our SUV for both of our grandkids (3 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl). I love it! We dont like public bathrooms (especially for kids) and this potty chair is perfect---anytime but especially during this pandemic! Even our 5 yr old granddaughter easily used it the other week when we were out and about. We just set it up in the back of the SUV and she sat there. The plastic bags included are so handy. My son was using a traditional potty seat for traveling with that same 5 yr old and I cant tell you how many times that she would use the traditional one and there wasnt a convenient place to empty it. So....you guessed it....the urine ended up sitting in the traditional potty chair and wasnt pleasant to smell when they discovered it several days later. So, this one makes it easy to pick up the plastic bag and dispose in a trash can. Easy peasy! I highly recommend.

> 3 dayI bought this travel potty over a year ago thinking my son would potty train early; however, things didnt go as planned and now my son is over 3.5 years old and potty training. This potty was simply too small for us. It sits too close to the ground for my son to sit willingly on it. Its also not quite long enough for him to successfully pee within the boundary (I dont think girls would have the same issue based on anatomy). We use the Bjorn high-back potty chair at home and that one is perfect in terms of height and length, though clearly not very portable. The OXO is about 2 shorter and 1 less long front to back. Seems minor, but it just didnt work for us. Setup really is super simple and fast, which is great. It folds up very small and fits in my diaper backpack. I love the drawstring bag it comes with. All in all I still highly recommend this potty - I just think it works better for younger/smaller toddlers and maybe better for girls based on where on the body the pee comes out. Also note that the disposable bags wrap around the seat, so your child will be sitting on top of the plastic when going to the bathroom. This can be more sanitary, but for kids that may be sensitive to sitting on top of plastic it could be an issue. All kids are different and Im guessing this potty works great for most.

> 3 dayGreat for both uses! We mainly use it when we’re out of the house but we’ve used it as both a standalone potty (on a trail at a park where we weren’t close to a bathroom) as well as in public bathrooms. If I have time in a public bathroom, I try to put down a toilet seat barrier (also purchased on Amazon) just to try to keep the bottom of the seat clean but I think this seat is way to wipe down and clean. I keep disinfecting wipes on hand when I’m out so I can wipe it down quickly before putting it away. Love that it comes with a carry bag…it’s a must for something like this but not all seats come with one. The only thing that I don’t love is that I find it a little difficult pushing the button while pulling out the legs all the way to the side (for use on a toilet) so it takes longer to do that when seconds count with little kids. I wished that I could just click the button twice and they would pop out to the right position (i.e. one click for stand-alone and two clicks for toilet). I still recommend this though because it’s sturdy, won’t pinch, fairly quick and mostly easy to set up, easy to clean and comes with a carry bag. If anyone from OXO is reading this, please consider the improvement I mentioned since second count when heading to the potty with a little one.

> 3 dayThis potty has been EVERYWHERE. We have taken it to Disney, in the car, at the grocery store, restaurants, you name it, we’ve been there. The ability to fold it and fit in our bags is so convenient to have. Love having the versatility to use with just a plastic bag or over a toilet seat. We strongly encourage all our parent friends to get one bc we love ours so much.

> 3 dayPurchased this before going on a small road trip with my son. Very glad to have it. Wish I bought it sooner but I think we will still get plenty of use out of it, especially with kiddo #2.

15-11-2024I am SO happy with this purchase. It is seriously the best $20 Ive ever spent. I began potty training my 2.5 year old daughter 3 weeks ago and this was a LIFE SAVER. We needed to travel 2.5 hours away only 1 week after starting training. Thankfully this showed up at our door right as we were leaving for our trip! We went to my parents lakehouse. It was so nice being able to use the same potty seat for the entire trip. She used this potty at restaurants, convenient store, the lake house, and once on the side of the road! It fits in her little back pack perfectly, which is SO nice! This really helped my daughter learn to go potty in public because she was terrified of new potties at first. I hope to not have to use this travel potty in public restrooms forever but for this early potty training stage it has been a must! My daughter has gotten better and better at going potty in public, and I really feel like its bc she has had this same seat no matter where she is. Highly highly highly reccomend it! It is extremely easy to use and clean and has been stable on a wide variety of potties.

> 3 dayI love this portable potty so much, I bought an extra to put in my husbands car! I just use grocery bags instead of buying the expensive OXO versions. As I unpack groceries, I set aside any bag that has NO holes in it. I then double bag 2 of the good bags and fold 6 half-size sheets or 3 full-size sheets of paper towels. I carry a bunch of these in each car at all times. I have 5 kids, 2 of which are toddlers who cannot hold it as well as the rest of us. So these have saved us over and over. If we are on a road trip, or too far from a public restroom, or whatever, my little ones can go potty wherever we are. I have even taken them to the lake or beach and created a little restroom using our 3-sided beach cover. Great for camping so you dont have to take them out in the dark to the porta-potty at the campsite. They are also great for public restrooms. Those who hate sitting their little kids on public toilets - this is for you! You fold out the legs an extra click and bam, you have a seat that sits on top of the public toilet, so their little bums do not touch the public seat. Voila! Once my kids start having kids, this will be my first gift at the baby showers!

18-11-2024I bought this item because we have several road trips throughout the year. I wanted to have something for when my daughter started potty training. She was a late trainer (3 1/2 yrs). First she didn’t want to use it but once she saw how convenient it was for her she loves it! I love it too! Turns out that my now 4yr old daughter doesn’t like using public restrooms. I either carry it in a backpack or just leave it in the car and she uses it when we get back to the car after walking somewhere. It’s light, foldable and easy to setup. We even used it in a hotel as her regular potty because she didn’t want to use the regular toilet. This can be used on a regular toilet seat but she didn’t want to. On the road, if she tells us she needs to go, we find a place to park and she goes! I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayThis is so great for a toddler on the go! It’s sturdy and there when a bathroom is not available (ex. when the public parks close the bathrooms for winter). So nice if she needs to poop in public too, that can be hard with the bigger toilets. This is a very helpful item to have!
