> 3 dayOutside of lackluster brightness and contrast for a bright environment, this monitor is a dream on paper. 165Hz (144Hz adaptive sync) 2560x1440 with the black levels and lesser backlight bleed of a *VA LCD while maintaining the input delay of a faster IPS or slower TN panel. The higher overdrive settings are useless for how overaggressive the effect is, but outside of that this monitor seems like it could work for anyone. Unfortunately, its not all good. The first screen arrived intact. The packaging was just the monitor box and a cardboard sleeve that fit around it. Setting it up, there were no noticeable defects and the screen looked uniform on lighting. Turned the screen off and mounted it, only to turn it back on and... No signal. Maybe a cable? Swapped the power supply and DisplayPort cables around and same deal. Power supply LED goes from a solid green to period flashing when plugged into the monitor, indicating its shutting itself down automatically. Let the monitor sit unplugged for a day and tried it again. Turned on for a few seconds before going black, power supply again blinking to indicate a possible short. Probably a bad capacitor. The screen has to be replaced. Second monitor arrived with an extra box protecting the cardboard sleeve. It also had a flat piece of styrofoam fitted between the front of the display and the inner box, which was oddly absent from the first monitor. Set up and plugged in, it worked, although this one had a dark smudge over 7-9 pixels in the lower half of the screen. It looks like dirt caught between the panel and cover, but its barely noticeable on anything but a solid bright background and just looks like the screen needs cleaning. I can live with that. At least theres no dead pixels. Until today, over a week after I first plugged it in. Suddenly theres two dead pixels stacked vertically just right of the center of the screen and it shows up in everything I do. Now Im wondering if that supposed dirt caught under the cover isnt actually the sign of some horrible defect and whether or not I can expect more pixels to go bad just weeks into use. I get that pixels can die over time, but this short of a window is ridiculous. So now I get to return another screen and hope Amazon doesnt take it upon itself to ban me for not throwing away hundreds of dollars on defective or broken products. This screen would be a great one if it arrived with only minor blemishes, but Im two of two in with one screen DOA and the other showing signs of serious deterioration only days into use. It might be beyond a smaller company like Pixio, but monitor manufacturers should start implementing pixel perfect options. I would have payed extra to avoid these headaches from the outset. Update: Changed review from two to three stars due to the third model working so far without error or obvious fault. Even though the screens arent the epitome of hardware with their sub-144Hz pixel refresh speeds that lead to some blurriness with moving text, overaggressive overdrive ghosting effects, and inherent LCD faults like backlight bleed and black levels that are far from perfect, they are a solid 4-4.5/5 if you dont end up with a string of bad eggs like I did. For now Im leaving it at 3/5 due to the implications tied to the majority of monitors sent my way being defective. Hopefully my experience was a fluke and the vast majority of buyers avoid sharing my frustration.

> 3 dayPros: - Great picture quality. Deep whites, rich blacks, vibrant colors. Good color accuracy after some minor tweaks. Great white and black uniformity. Contrast ratio is lower than most VA panels but still a huge step up from an IPS or TN panel. Gaming is where this monitor really shines! - Two display ports, two HDMI ports - Joystick OSD control was snappy and response. Lots of options in the OSD - Very low input lag, very response Cons: - Small text is blurry and has noticeable fringing. I tried solving this by maxing out the sharpness and using Cleartype and several solutions I found online. This seems to be an issue inherent with VA panels. I planned to use this as a work monitor, but this issue was too noticeable for me. Some will be less sensitive to this though - My unit came with some minor scuffs on the back of the panel Misc: - Stand is very study, but has only tilt adjustment - 32 inches is big for a monitor. Great if its your only monitor, but I had this as a second display and my neck was not happy from needing to move so much - Response time is a mixed bag. Most of the time motion is clear, especially in bright areas. Smearing becomes somewhat noticeable in dark areas. I didnt mind it because it was brief, but if response time is important, then a TN panel or a high end IPS panel will work better for you. Hardware Unboxed stated in their review for this monitor than in terms of response time, its closer to 120hz panel overall

> 3 dayif your not looking to break your bank account this monitor is a pretty good value for a 144hz panel. i tend to lean towards ips because of the picture quality. i really did not see any ghosting in this monitor so that is a plus. it does have freesync and that is another plus. the built in speakers i would not recommend using long term, i would either get a nice pair of headphones or speakers to really get a better experience.

> 3 daySo Id say Ive used the set of these monitors long enough to have an accurate review of them. Overall theyve worked pretty well for me since I bought them on September 26, 2021. Pretty good picture quality for 1080p pretty good for competitive FPS games etc with its 144hz & 1ms response time. But more recently Ive run into the issue of it going completely black on me.. now I know that my new 6700xt isnt at fault with its drivers fully up to date so I proceeded to replace the display cables and make sure they had enough slack to not cause such blackouts while I was mid-game/movie/work-related environment; unfortunately, after taking all the above steps drivers, cabling, etc I still had the issue. Now it may not have been often but it was several times a week. Also when I have the monitor clocked at 144hz in certain games it causes any motion within the application to result in a black screen whereas repeated restarts would eventually fix it or lower my refresh rate down to a measly 60hz... which kind of defeats the purpose of my buying these gaming monitors. I started checking out the monitors internal menu and noticed that the firmware was still on V1.0. I scoured the internet and pixios site and couldnt find a lick of information on the issue or the lack of updates. I proceeded to email their customer service to ask if I was just missing where the firmware was listed or if it was EOL. They got back to me and said they dont allow customers access to firmware or potential updates past what theyre initially shipped with. Im going to use these monitors til they die but past that I cant recommend another pixio product if they dont allow paying customers access to any kind of self-service support. Im not shipping two monitors to who knows where for firmware updates especially on my dime. Its not realistic and not a good way to build more than one-off customers. In conclusion, theyre good enoough, but Id have gone with another brand if I could do things over.

Greater than one weekI purchased three of these 32-inch monitors on Black Friday 2020. Best Monitors I have ever purchased (So Far). The quality is flawless, sharp and colorful. I upgraded from (2) 22-inch 1080p monitors that were almost a decade old. I plugged these in and turned on my computer, I nearly fainted. I had a smile from ear to ear for days. The pictures on Amazon does not do these monitors justice. These monitors are HUGE. quality is great and the colors are awesome. And its sharp, like really sharp. I found out about these monitors from watching eSports & gamers using them. These are VERY worth the money. Currently using them in 1440p mode, but it does go 1-step higher. But since my GTX 1070-Ti is not that great in handling anything more than 1440p I didnt go higher in resolution. I am waiting for prices to go way down to normal prices on the GTX 3090 graphics cards, to try higher settings. Anyways, I dont want to babble, ill just say that since Black Friday 2020, ive been extremely happy with these. And I hope nothing happens to these monitors that I seriously love. Hope there is great support IF it does. Thank you Pixio :)

> 3 dayLooks great and a great monitor. Only issue I have with it, is that it has no power button you have to unplug it from the monitor. UPDATE: 5/20/23 The monitor screen keeps shutting off, I dont know if its the display port or the monitor yet.

> 3 dayThe the rocker button (which switches modes and makes adjustments) did nothing beyond powering the monitor on and off. I returned it for replacement only to have Pixio inform me that there was nothing wrong with it. This can only mean one of three things: a.) The product was not defective and the monitor is designed in a way that you cant access the menu and switch modes unless it is already both connected to a device and transmitting the said device on the display. In which case, youre damned if you dont have an HDMI device/cable on standby since HDMI is the default selected mode. [My 32 Omen gaming monitor does not require this.] b.) The product was defective and they repaired it. And since they cant get the same amount of money for a refurbished product on the market, nor was I willing to accept a repair for a DOA product that I paid full price for, they rather just lie to me and say there was nothing wrong with it so they can avoid giving me a new monitor as a replacement. c.) The product was defective and it simply got mixed up with another one and the one they inspected wasnt actually mine. Whichever scenario this case may be, this product should be avoided. I give it 4 stars instead of 1 since they gave me a full refund. Feel free to buy this product but be sure to not dispose of the box and packaging material. Youre probably gonna need it.

Greater than one weekI use this mostly for programming in a well lit room. The small size makes 1080 text look as crisp as any 4K monitor. Compared to my MacBook Pro, I can see some backlight bleeding, but, its not unbearable. As to color reproduction - Id say it rivals my Samsung 27 4K Monitor My biggest complaint is the button to get to the menu. The button has 4 positions: up, neutral, down, in. Pressing up and down is super easy. Pressing in, it seems hit or miss. If theres even the slightest up or down movement, the IN movement seems to get over-ridden and the menu item up or down gets highlighted (but not selected) After some practice, its easier to navigate. The second complaint is the power cord is REALLY short - maybe 4 or 5 feet. and finding a USB-A to USB-C cable is pretty hard. Luckily, my power strip is right below my desk, so, I dont have any issues, but, just something to consider. THE GOOD They provide a Micro-HDMI cable that is truly awesome. I mean, its really good quality, and not stiff. Again, the color is REALLY good for a monitor this cheap. Its as good as a $300 Samsung, but I have a $500 LG that looks way better. But again, its about 4xs the cost. The case turns into a stand and its really good. Its the perfect angle for working, it doesnt take up a lot of desk space, and the case it soft. I trust this case to protect my screen. OVERALL Im happy with my purchase and my buy another one. The bad, are not bad enough to NOT buy if you need a small monitor for programming and need more desk space. It also works perfect if you want to hook an AppleTV up to it to watch something while traveling. The included cables are good quality, the case protects the monitor amply, and the monitor is small enough to fit into a laptop backpack with a 13 MacBook pro, and both chargers and not be too big or bulky
