Greater than one weekAbsolutely beautiful. the ips panel makes colors pop. went back and launched some old games; its a new experience. Gotham knights at 1440p 60fps at night looking at the colors on buildings, the character detail, the lights defusing thru fog off cars. just immaculate. buying another one for sure. no idea why i held off for 2 years.

> 3 dayWell I didn’t do very much research before buying this and now I regret that. The response time on this monitor is horrible. During normal usage(eg. scrolling on chrome) the ghosting is pretty apparent. When playing games, especially fps that have dark areas(like CoD), the ghosting is horrible. Even with the overdrive setting to the max it was still pretty bad, although the setting change did help a little. Overall I’d say if you are a competitive gamer or just want something quality that looks nice, this is not the monitor for you, even for a good price this isn’t worth it. For people who aren’t using this for gaming or fast paced things it might work, because the picture quality and brightness were decent, along with no dead pixels. In the end you’d probably be much better off with an asus for the same price. I ended up returning mine because the ghosting makes it not much better than a 60 or 100hz monitor

> 3 dayIt worked fine for me for about a year with pretty good results and then one day it just stopped. I had it on a shelf for a while and recently pulled it out to test again before deciding if I really did need to dispose of it. That is when it promptly started to melt (see my image). It was VERY hot. Not sure if Im an outlier or not but it felt like a good time to share my experience. Its one thing for it to break. Quite another to start to catch on fire.

> 3 dayLooks great and a great monitor. Only issue I have with it, is that it has no power button you have to unplug it from the monitor. UPDATE: 5/20/23 The monitor screen keeps shutting off, I dont know if its the display port or the monitor yet.

Greater than one weekI got this monitor because it is FLAT and supposedly works with G Sync. With the included DP cable, G Sync appears to work just fine with my RTX 2070. The Nvidia control panel says the monitor is not certified g sync compatible, but it still allows you to enable and it works well. Games are buttery smooth and input lag is basically non existent. Im quite satisfied with the colors right out of the box and found no need to adjust for the most part. Only thing I changed was enabling the Low Blue Light setting to Low (options are L, M, H). Freesync also isnt enabled by default on the monitor, so you need to enable that yourself quickly. Ive seen complaints on the brightness of the monitor, but mine is more than bright enough in my office that gets plenty of natural light from a large window right next to my desk. $300 well spent! Two big time gripes for this monitor after using it for a couple weeks. - First, once the monitor goes to sleep after it loses signal, there appears to be no way of waking it back up unless you hold the power button to turn it off, then turn it back on. This is a problem for me because I have this monitor connected to two computers (my personal gaming desktop and my work laptop). If I turn one computer off and the monitor goes to sleep, I cant wake it back up to switch the input to the other. - That brings me to my next issue. Theres no quick way of switching inputs. You need to dig through the OSD menu to get to the source switch. I go back and forth between inputs regularly, so I find this very annoying. So annoying that Im currently looking into some sort of displayport switch to avoid it altogether. Update: returned it just before the end of the return period. The two nuisances mentioned above ended up being deal breakers for me. Returned and got an LG 32GK650F-B for the exact same price (Micro Center). Much better OSD, fully articulating stand.

> 3 dayI just got this PX243 monitor a few days ago (October 2022). There are no dead pixels, and no defects except for some tiny physical aberration right in the middle of the monitor. At first I thought it was a dark pixel, but I can feel some tiny physical issue there. Fortunately, this issue is probably 1-2 pixels in size and only shows up (light grey) on white. As I write this review I can see it right above where Im typing. I did not ding it after receiving it. This is why Ive rated this 4/5. All the HDMI/DP ports function for my needs (60Hz to 3 computers), but I have tested 165Hz to my gaming PC. It works fine. I will consider keeping that in place. One thing I have no idea if its an issue or not, is related to scrolling text in a dark mode Windows 10 Settings panel. When I scroll, all of the text effectively becomes invisible until I stop scrolling. Default font, etc. I do have brightness on the monitor turned all the way down. But on my older Dell 2410 (with brightness down), when I scroll the text remains fully visible. I have no idea if this can be tuned. I think this is due to the fact its a VA panel. It seems like the black color of the Windows Dark Mode Theme is partially to blame. Ubuntu uses more greys for its dark mode, and the issue is not as apparent there. Audio output is fine. I have no issues with it, but Im not an audiophile. I dont notice any pops or noise. I mounted this to a VESA stand. Notably, the standard VESA screws provided (M4-12) are too long for my VESA mount. I had to buy M4-10 machine screws to fit to the VESA mounting plate. Otherwise the monitor was loose. Yes, it is a VESA mount. No, I did not do anything wrong when connecting it. I will update this review over time.

> 3 dayI’ve read all the reviews and was hesitant but I just went for it and got this monitor cuz I needed one. It works fine! Make sure to plug the hdmi or whatever cable you have into the right spot. The settings are easy to control and if you run into any issues, solutions are pretty easy to come across online. It’s a perfect size in my opinion and the quality is nice.

Greater than one weekThis monitor has blown my mind to pieces. The 165hv refresh rate while I’m playing games really is noticeable. The reason why I have given this 4 stars is because the display cable that came with the monitor was complete trash. The screen would go black and would have white specks on it. Besides the faulty cable , the monitor itself is incredible. Flawless color, no tearing or dead pixels. I very highly recommend this monitor for the price. Just make sure you have a spare hdmi cable just in case.

> 3 daySo I took a chance and ordered this pixio monitor based off a good reviews I had seen. When the monitor arrived, to say the least I was not disappointed. The picture quality is great (far better than a tn panel) and the price is unbeatable for the specs you get. However, I did have an issue with the stand being loose even with all the mounting bolts tightened down. So rather than return to amazon I reached out to pixio and explained the issue. I received a personalized (not an auto) email response in less than 24 hours. The representative immediately offered a replacement stand and asked that I register my product and fill out a simple rma form. After I submitted my forms I then received confirmation that my item would be shipped, but to my surprise I received the replacement stand the very next day. I have since installed the new stand which resolved all issues with the previous one. Dealing with pixio is hands down the best and easiest customer service experience I’ve had. I now have faith that if something is to go wrong in the future that pixio will stand by their warranty. If your reading this review and are hesitant to try a pixio, don’t be. Let my testimony help you make the right decision. There are other similar panels on the market from more well known companies, but most have tn panels/less features and are more expensive. The Pixio monitors truly represent a great value in the market. If I need a second monitor down the line pixio will be what I get.
