> 24 hourWhat can I say? Great new addition to the Pokemon line. Ive been playing these games since Red/Blue first arrived and I had started to get a little weary of the same formula. Now, Im not one to suggest that GameFreak/Nintendo changed it up greatly, but it was a very pleasant discovery to learn that this game had changed the rather predictable pattern of the past games. The new features are pretty awesome and as a pokemon fan, it was a lot of fun. If youve never played a pokemon game and want to, either this or Moon would be a great starting point. Hours of fun. If youre like me and have played all the previous pokemon games, you can look forward to some well-thought and cleverly designed features that really are enchanting and add new play-ability to the franchise.

> 24 hourGreat game! Nintendo doesnt disappoint with this game. There is more of a storyline focus, and a lot of things have been added or changed. My favorite thing, which might be innocuous, is the PC. It goes directly do your boxes now where you can rearrange, swap pokemon etc. I also really like Poke Pleago. Makes getting pokébeans (equivalent of poképuffs) so much easier. I also think the caring for your pets after a battle is nice. It makes raising their affection so much easier. Petting gives 4 hearts now! Awesome. They made a lot of changes which I understand and appreciate. The Pokémon games have been going on for so long they have to refresh it somehow! Awesome game, definitely recommend.

> 24 hourOverall its a pretty good game, though the story seems a bit short compared to others. The Generation V games seem to be the longest in the series in terms of time to complete, Black 1 & 2 and White 1 & 2, and in terms of scope and size of the map as well, although Generation IV Heartgold and SoulSilver probably come very close. Ive been playing Pokemon since Blue for the GBC. Its unfortunate Pokemon games in general do not carry over many features from previous games, Generation VIII games (Sun & Moon) dont have swarm battles, triple battles, and many other features from the Generation VI games. I dislike the fact Sun & Moon do not have the full National pokedex so you cant actually catch them all although the Pokemon bank does - I suspect this is a ploy to get more subscribers to that service, which is also excellent by the way. The graphics, controls, etc are all fantastic, cannot find a flaw with those at all, although the 3ds does appear to lag when there are double battles, although only slighlty - and I do have the New 3ds. The online features are pretty awesome, too. Wonder trading is still my favorite part of the new pokemon games, its almost as addictive as gambling.

> 24 hourVery pleased with this game! The change from gyms to island challenges is a welcome change and brings life back to the game! The avatar customization returns, and Ive always enjoyed that. The ride pokemon addition is wonderful, no longer do I need an HM pokemon in my team! I can just hit Y and call for a ride pokemon! Pokemon refresh is a wonderful way to save your money, instead of buying antidotes and such, you can just treat your pokemon with pokemon refresh and boom!, the status effect is gone! Its also a huge help with gaining friendship. Id only had my Eeeve for a few days, before it evolved from friendship into an Umbreon! The pokemon calling for help feature is very annoying however. I was trying to catch a Magby and it called for help four times, each time another Magby appearing. It took far too long for me to be able to catch it and took a whole lot of health out of my Pokemon because I had to keep fighting two on one battles before I could throw the pokeball! Also, I dont enjoy the trade being in the festival plaza. It was so much easier when it was just its own little button in the main menu. Another thing, the new game button is gone from the main menu. You have to hold down up+b+x on the main screen just to be able to reset the game!

> 24 hourSun and Moon deserves praise than any versions of Pokemon. This game will make you quit Pokemon Go and other Pokemon versions. It is simply better due to its improved features and added convenient systems. If someone says Pokemon Sun and Moon is too easy and should not be rated 9 out of 10. They are not humble because the real challenge is in online battle and they will get crushed anytime soon. So I will rate this game 9 out of 10 overall. Anyway, I bought both Sun and Moon versions along with official Guide and one more Nintendo system to evolve and power up Pokemons.

> 24 hourPros. Graphics and sound have been greatly improved ! But if you are using an older model of the 3ds then the frame rate drops a little during battles . On the other hand the *new* 3DS handles things pretty well, you wont notice the frame drop as much. HMs are a thing of the past! No longer will we required to have HM slaves on adventure team! We can now page Ride Pokemon ! Need a bolder smashed out of the way? Summon Touros! Need to go for a swim? Summon Lapras or Sharpedo ! Need to fly? Summon Charizard! The only downside is that these are rental pokemon . You cant use your own . They also seem to be shiny locked as well. Kurts Apricorn Pokeballs have returned ! For the trainers out there who have dreamed of having 5th, 6th and now 7th gen pokemon in this special balls REJOYCE ! Love Ball Sylveon is a thing now! Moon Ball Rockruff is a thing! Keep in mind that Apricorn trees are not in game but you can find these special balls through out the game. Trainer Customization is back and better then ever ! First off! After 20 years we can finally take the damn hat off! YES ! There are more hairstyles for both boys and girls ! Girl trainers get to wear make up. White colored clothes can be dyed whatever color you want! Breeding mechanics have gotten an upgrade ! Male and Genderless Pokemon can now pass down their pokeballs if they are bred with Ditto ! Before it was females only ! The Day Care was replaced by the The Nursery . Pokemon will not level up and auto forget moves that you are trying to breed down . Because they dont level up in the Nursery its hella cheaper to boot! These games are more story driven then any other pokemon game! There a few flaws I do NOT like but Ill just have to deal with. GTS . Game Freak still has NOT figured out how to block people from asking for unreasonable trades. Like Caterpie for Arceus , for example . Not much backwards compatibility with 6th gen games . Theres NO way to trade directly between 6th and 7th gen games without Pokémon Bank . I myself and many others have tested this. Theres NO way to battle players who have 6th gen games either . But in the end , despite the flaws I still think these are solid games .

> 24 hourPokemon Sun was one of the best games that I have ever played on the 3DS. This comes in as one of the best Pokemon games that I have played, with the exception of Soul Silver, on the basis of the extended story line. The storyline was amazing, but I was sad to see the game end so quickly. Playing after the game was over was not the real intention of the game, though, so I cant complain to GameFreak there. What made Soul Silver great, was that after you cleaned out and completed every part of Johto, you had an entire region to explore. Back to the product, though. Pokemon Sun had a beautiful storyline, and if you played the demo, you got a Greninja, which was a great companion if you chose Litten or Rowlet for your starter. I chose Litten, and I have almost always chosen fire, I chose Cyndaquil, Chimchar, and Charmander for some of the other games that I have played. The part that gets me down about this game is the end, but that really happens in any pokemon game. After you battle Red in Soul Silver, you feel so sad that the game is over. What I really wish the makers of Sun had did, was to let you journey to Kanto with Lillie and go with her as a companion, as in she was attached to you, and you did a lot of double battles in that point. I think that that would have made the game so much better, but I think that this game would become a $50 game, not a $35 game (If you bought it on Prime). This game was well made in all honesty, but I wish there was more after getting Solgaleo (The legendary). Thats my little rant, thank you for listening!

> 24 hourThis is a must buy game if you have the 3DS, and possibly even a system seller. As a pokemon game compared to the other entries in the series its great! This game improves on many of the features that needed tweeting from x and y, such as a better battle interface, a more interesting narrative (well by pokemon standards), and way better 3D models and textures. All these improvements make this one of my favorite pokemon games to date, and thats coming from someone who has been playing these games for almost their whole life. My only gripe is that during double battles the game does lag if you are using an older 3DS model, and the game does seem to be pushing the technical power of the 3DS. Other than that though I truly think that this is a great game and for nintendo fans it should hold them off till the release of their new console.

> 24 hourI was very disappointed with Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, but Im still a Pokémon fan so I HAD to order this game. Im happy to say the bad taste went away completely! I feel really excited when I play this game, discovering new Pokémon and forms! The story is interesting and the characters are all likeable so far. The new mechanics are great and well implemented. I LOVE to ride Tauros, I thought I was gonna miss my bike but hell no! Also the trials are entertaining, I dont miss gym leaders at all. One in particular made me laugh a lot. Also you get to see Pokédex descriptions everytime you get a new Pokémon, either from capturing, evolving or trading, which is great. Some of the descriptions are pretty cool or even creepy! I only wish we had Pokémon Bank already, my dear friends from previous games are waiting for me there. If youre a Pokémon fan, youll LOVE this game!

> 24 hourI have avidly played Pokemon since the original Pokemon Silver on the GameBoy Color. And let me tell you, Pokemon Sun has shown that the company has come a long, long way. Im not sure I like where its going. I spent hours completing the Pokedex on Pokemon Emerald, I cried during Pokemon Black, I rejoiced with Pokemon HeartGold, and celebrated the release of Pokemon X & Y. Pokemon Sun, however, isnt as good as the others. While Pokemon is arguably a childs game, this game really emphasizes it. 1.) No HMs, like they dont trust us how to use them. 2.) Rotom Dex is annoying with its constant blinking and blurbs - its reminiscent of Yokai Watch in style. 3.) Constant dialogue from start to finish - theres really no time to explore and have fun, because every 100 feet or so, youve got some story character that needs to tell you something. 4.) Names of new pokemon are so childishly simple; Mudsdale for a horse-like pokemon, Rockruff for a dog-like pokemon...like, honestly? Im all for puns, but those are just bad. It all just felt too young, but it is still excellent for what it is and for any newcomer to the Pokemon world. I wish to see, in the future, a game that focuses less on gimmicks and instead embraces what the original games were about: exploration, emotional bonds, and friendly competition. Itll attract all the old fans, like myself, and new fans alike.
