Great salve but really strong scent . I could smell it wrapped in plastic in a card board box!

This is an awesome old fashion salve. It is analgesic for pain as well as antiseptic and antibacterial. It really speeds healing noticeably. I use it on strains, sprains and bruises as well as cuts and abrasions. It has just the right amount of drying action to avoid the gooey ness of some thinner antibiotic salves, and moisturizing, to keep the scrape from drying and cracking. It does have a slight oder which some might notice. I happen to find it somewhat pleasing. In any event the healing properties are well worth it! My first aid kit is never without porter salve!

We have been using this salve 4 many many years. It eases pain, and, is easy to use.

If you read the label you will see that this is good for just about everything. A little goes a long way so it will last a long time. Since coming across this from a daughter-in-law that used it on our grandchildren for things like bug bites (one always got bite infections and this made them go away), we are never without one or two cans at the ready.

Grew up using this. Great for chapped skin, on minor cuts and splinters.

I love the soothing healing it gave . And the antibacterial properties as well healing with less scarring. Great stuff from Ohio.

I grew up in a family that did not go to doctors or the E.R. for hardly anything. My mom put Porters on almost everything first. Pleasant smell. Pulls out infection. Helps things heal fast with minimal scarring.
