Not crazy about the sent but it is great for wound care.

We have used this product for at least 70 years. It heals scrapes and small wounds... and relieves pain at the site. Our uncle had a dairy farm back in the day, so we found out about the salve from him. Our family used to call it PAIN KING. We hope to never be without it. My son has been fighting an infection in his leg for months. He went to the Dr. who prescribed an antibiotic and a moisturizing salve to apply directly to the wound. It just did not heal. I remembered when I was a kid my dad applied porters salve to the affected area whenever one of us kids had a problem with something healing or when we had a sliver somewhere. I thought it was worth giving it a shot. After the first application, I could not believe the difference. A week later the wound was completely healed. I will never be without it in my home again.

Growing up, my family used this salve for cuts and bruises and rashes. Years ago it was used on farms to treat injuries on the farm animals. It takes the pain of sores and injuries away and the sores heal very quickly. I first used it at my uncles farm. He used it on his animals as well as the family.

Ive used it since I was a kid and that was a long time ago. I recommend this to everyone. Im just sorry that none of my local stores carry it anymore. I have very dry skin and my feet and hands crack all year long I wouldnt know what to do without this terrific old time product. Even with it having a little odor its worth it for the relief and quick healing. It is great for drawing slivers out also.

This stuff stinks, and yet we put it on everything, because it works! Our go to!

This ointment has been in my familys medicine cabinets for generations. We use it on small cuts, scrapes, hangnails, bee stings, splinters, etc. Takes pain away and heals quickly. Smells horrible, but the results are phenomenal!

This stuff is amazing to heal burns suts even takes away that painful hang nail or pain frome cutting your fingernails to short. I dont know how but it really does. Cracked heals? This will heal and take the pain away from walking on them.we are never without this in our medicine cabinet. Neither is anyone e we have let try it. And it lasts forever cause you only need a small amount. The only bad thing about this is the smell but when it takes away the pain you wont care if it smells.

We have been using this salve 4 many many years. It eases pain, and, is easy to use.
