> 3 dayI hope they never quit making this or change the formula, it is amazing! I use it on any skin ailments. Works in 24 - 48 hours upon use. My finger had puncture wound that was getting red and infected, infection was gone after applying a generous amount and a bandage for two nights. Used it on my dog with allergy dermatitis, gone in three days! One can will last a very long time. A little goes a long ways!

> 3 dayI grew up using Stuff from Canada as my French-Canadian grandparents called it. It was Rundells Salve back then and they got it when they went to Canada to visit family! The smell is strong, but to me it is nostalgic! Far beyond the smell is its ability to heal wounds of all kinds! Ive staved off infections from cat bites/scratches, slivers, burns, hangnails, various cuts and punctures...more things than I can count! It also works wonders overnight for severe chapped/cracked skin and lips!! Not to mention it lasts forever!!! Its worth its weight in gold of you ask me!!!

05-06-2025BEST. EVER. My grandfather used this all the time for everything. Any itch, burn, cut, or sting - out came the salve. You can smell it before you see it! It does have an unique smell, that’s for sure, but it will heal ANYTHING and provides instant relief. I bought this for everyone’s Christmas stocking and it was a hit. I keep it in great supply at my house and give it graciously to others. I lather it on and can feel the healing taking place!

> 3 dayBeen using this product for 30 years and you cannot beat it for fixing cuts, stings, abarasions or any other external problem. Most people would go to a doctor whereas we use Porters Salve to take care of the problem. About the only thing it has not fixed is a yellow jacket sting.

Porter"s Liniment Salve - Original Formula
History
The George H Rundle Company was founded in 1871 in Piqua, Ohio where they produced the original Liquid Porter’s Pain King Liniment. During the prohibition, The Rundle Company was forced to discontinue their original formula due to the high alcohol content in the liquid liniment. Market demand brought about the creation of Porter’s Pain King Salve in 1916. The salve formula was based off the original liquid version; but the solid form required no alcohol which allowed sales to continue during the prohibition. Rumor has it that the Rundle Company was so confident in the product that they would only accept payment from satisfied customers! The George H Rundle Company went out of business in 1969. At that time W.E Roecker moved the operation to Covington, Ohio where the Roecker family continued to produce the original formula for 52 years. In 2021 the operation was moved to Mechanicsburg, Ohio where the next generation will continue the 105-year tradition.
Use
A soothing first aid salve. Aids to prevent infections in minor cuts, burns and abrasions. Provides temporary relief of discomfort due to minor burns, sunburn, chapped skin, non-poisonous insect bites and itching. The salve has a drawing quality, which works particularly well on slivers of metal, wood, or glass, beneath the surface of the skin.
