> 3 dayMy 6 year old was still using the potty because he likes to be comfortable while using the restroom at home but that got a bit much to clean up after a 6 year old so I purchased Mangohood toliet seat to go right on top of my regular toliet and it has worked out great!! My 6 year old puts it on top of the toliet when he uses the rest room and it’s very comfortable him, especially because he likes to sit there with his iPad for a while and I don’t have to worry about cleaning up after him when he’s finished.

> 3 dayI was really excited about this and I think maybe for a girl its perfect but when comes to potty training a little boy, the struggles is real. The little lip on the front of the potty is too short and my son tends to pee right over it onto the bathroom floor. We try to put him as close as possible and sometimes he still misses it. He only manages to get it in when he bends forward and counts his toes. Its pretty sturdy on the toilet, weve experienced maybe once or twice where it moved as he was sitting down, but otherwise it feels pretty in place. Easy to fold out of the way and place between the toilet and sink counter, but pretty much stays in place as its his primary bathroom.

> 3 daythis works as it should until one day the screw cover just falls off as this seat needs frequent tightening, dont forget or your little one may fall over as one side may come apart. I wish they wouldve mentioned that in the instructions.

Greater than one weekMy two year old was just getting started with potty training and did not enjoy the portable small potties. So I got this one and he liked it instantly. It does move around a little when he is climbing on but not to the point of falling off. He knows to be careful.

Greater than one weekLove this seat! It fits most seats. My only complaint is you have to leave the toilet seat up for it to fit on the toilet. Other than that, it works perfect and my son loves the step and handles.

> 3 dayWeve been using this step stool/potty seat for a year and a half now and I do have some thoughts. I do have a big kid. Hes solid and tall for his age, wearing a size 5T since just after he turned three. But hes still a bit short to stand and reach the potty, which is why we got this. He does love it, and it works fairly well. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a couple design points that could have been thought through a bit better. First, the plastic seat itself has worn off the coating on our toilet seat and made it look bad. I guess well have to get a new toilet seat once my kiddo can use the potty without this step. Next, while the removable padded seat part is nice for helpful clean ups, the legs should have much fewer cracks and crevices to clean! A smooth surface would be much easier for parents who are dealing with potty training. As it is, save yourself some time and stick it in the shower, spray it down with cleaner, and use your showerhead hose attachment on it. Just make sure to angle it towards the back of the tub so you dont inadvertently spray yourself. Finally, the large plastic screws that hold the step and legs together seem nice, but I do find myself constantly having to tighten them often. I would almost rather have real metal screws that wouldnt loosen and possibly cause an accident All in all if you can deal with these issues, this seat is a good choice. But I did want to point out the few things I mentioned above as things that I wasnt thinking of when searching for a step stool for my son.
