> 3 dayThis is just what my 3 year old independent boy needed to help get him to the finish line of potty training. He is 3 1/2 and refused to go #2 in the potty. I believe it was because he needed to have his feet on the floor and a roomy seat for his bottom. This product covers all the bases. Large secure step, soft comfy seat, and the ability for my independent boy to climb up all by himself whenever hes ready. I am glad I paid a little more and went with the quality of this seat. My son was going on his on in the potty the very next day! Im sorry I put off buying this seat for so long. It was totally worth it.

> 3 dayI really like this chair. Its very sturdy and has a wide step. The previous chair I had was similar but a much more narrow step. This caused several near falls when my children were stepping up then trying to turn around to sit down. It seems to fit more snug on the toilet seat than the other and is overall much more sturdy. My only negative is, I dont understand why the cushion seat is not one solid piece. It is a small cushion sat down in a plastic seating. Its held on with Velcro. Now potty training especially with boys is messy and this is a pee trap. It has to be taken apart and disinfected at least once or twice a week. Otherwise it is unsanitary and will cause rashy bottoms not to mention stink terribly. Ive found easiest way is to remove cushion and place whole chair in shower spray with bleach water soaking Velcro pads wipe down then rinse thourghly with water and sit it outside in the sun to dry. A regularly used potty chair I guess needs routine cleaning. This one will hold you to it. Overall I am pleased with it. It is very sturdy and I value that very highly.

> 3 dayIt is very stable. It is made of strong plastic and is not flimsy. The step is nice and wide. My 3 year old can stand and turn on it comfortably and safely. Im very happy with it. The only problem that I had was the pee blocker was slightly too short for my son. I had to glue an additional blocker on it to make it higher so he didnt splash on the floor. But I had that problem with all the step potties I tried so I guess its a normal issue with potty seats when you have a boy.

> 3 dayMy son actually WANTS to go potty now!! Weve tried EVERYTHING, you name it, Ive bought it. He loves that he can almost set this up by himself and its so sturdy that he can stand on the foot stool or sit in the cozy chair to go potty! Extremely pleased with this purchase!! Would DEFINITELY recommend! ***Update: Still in love with this potty training seat months later! Back story: We purchased a highback Baby Bjorn potty chair, a lowback Baby Bjorn potty chair, the Summer My Size Potty and this potty training seat to test the top rated potty training chairs according to Google & Amazon reviews. (We also purchased a small frog urinal for our son but I feel like thats in a category of its own :) ) . Hands down, after 6+ months of potty trying, this potty seat is by far the most superior. Although he did enjoy sitting on both Baby Bjorn potty chairs when clothed, he refused to actually use them to go pee or poop. They seemed to be more of a toy to him and he threw a major fuss any time I tried to get him to use them. He did enjoy the My Size Potty by Summer because of the fact that its a miniature version of our large potty, has 2 storage areas and makes realistic flushing noises as a job well done reward. However, same situation, convincing him to actually use that potty was still proving to be a somewhat difficult task (although he did end up using it several times and in my opinion this potty chair definitely placed second place for the above mentioned reasons!). He absolutely LOVES this foldable potty chair attachment however. Its such an easy set up and he has such gratification from being able to set it up himself. The stool and handles make it both easy and safe for him to climb. The colors are fun and there are different color themes for boys, girls and gender neutral choices as well. The seat is heavily padded and when properly removed, can be easily cleaned along with the rest of the chair. Additionally the durability and sturdiness of this chair is awesome! (assuming the foot pedals are properly adjusted to your floor according to the user manual). Again, after comparing 4 of the top potty chairs to determine what worked best for our needs, this chair came in first, hands down! I would highly recommend this seat!!

> 3 dayI like that it folds up but in a smaller bathroom, it can be a challenge to find a place to store. The seat is padded and if the child misses their target and urinates on the actual seat, the seat can be removed and urine can be cleaned up but you have to remember that it can accumulate there. Kids love the independence of getting on the potty by themselves. I wish the front was a little higher to prevent my grandson from urinating outside of the toilet.

> 3 dayPutting this seat together was a breeze. The material is sturdy. The color was spot on. It is stable when placed on our toilet with the seat up. If the toilet seat is left down the the product does not align properly, at least with our toilet. The only reason I gave this item a 4-star rating is because of three things: 1. The splash guard is not tall enough for little boys; 2. The Velcro is a nice touch until urine gets between the foam seat and the Velcro, then the Velcro loses its sticky component and comes off of the foam cushion; and 3. The width of the seat is a bit to wide for my son who is small for his age, due to having Down syndrome. He loves this new potty and is not scared to climb up the step and sit down. But when he gets on it he feels the need to sit right near the front of the seat because he fears falling in the toilet. This is both good and bad. Good because at least he is in a position where the splash guard will keep him from peeing on me or the wall, but bad because he is not positioned in a manner that allows the urine to fall into the toilet properly which means it ends up under the foam cushion and also drips down his leg or onto the floor. Otherwise, this product has sparked interest in my son who is developmentally behind.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect potty chair for training toddlers! Very well made, padded seat, easy to assemble, and easy to clean. Folds up when not in use. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a seat with a step to give toddlers the independence they need.

> 3 dayMy 6 year old was still using the potty because he likes to be comfortable while using the restroom at home but that got a bit much to clean up after a 6 year old so I purchased Mangohood toliet seat to go right on top of my regular toliet and it has worked out great!! My 6 year old puts it on top of the toliet when he uses the rest room and it’s very comfortable him, especially because he likes to sit there with his iPad for a while and I don’t have to worry about cleaning up after him when he’s finished.

> 3 dayLooks great, feels great, kiddo fell in love with it immediately (which is impressive since we were having trouble getting him to use the big potty). However, I had to modify it to get it to fit, and it still isnt quite perfect. Presumably If I removed the toilet seat/cover it would fit (the rear of the potty seat runs into the existing toilet seat, and the edge of the ladder hits the bowl). I presume my toilet is simple too round for the universal fit, even though its an oval. Pros: 1. Kid loves it 2. Big step surface for kiddo to turn around on (my kiddo is very small for his age) 3. Soft padding for kiddos butt 4. Stable enough to easily get on/off safely, particularly with the ladder Cons: 1. Didnt fit my toilet 2. Velcro pads to lift off the white seat pads arent adhered very well (one came off immediately out of the box). However, a little glue fixes that issue. 3. If you have a boy thats not good about aiming down, or prefers to pee standing up, it will be quite a mess and require cleaning almost every time to prevent it getting nasty. 4. Its foldable, but still takes quite a bit of space. Luckily we have 2 bathrooms so we just leave it on all the time for the kiddos.
