I wish I had bought this when I first thought of potty training, my son (2) was not happy with the over potty seat and we were getting no where with potty training so o decided to give this a try and boom! He even goes to the bathroom by him self and flushes like a big boy! All he needed was the boos from having some independence in being able to get up on the toilet and get down from it. Hes happy and hes become a number one fan of potty training and goes to the bathroom even at day care he is already aware of when he has to go.

We really like this step stool! Its easy enough for my 3 year old to set up and take down. He is potty trained but couldnt get on the toilet by himself. Now he can! He loves being independent and doing it himself. I like that he is safe on it and it doesnt make a mess when he uses it.

I purchased 2 of these for our Son who is potty training right now. We bought one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I purchased the first one about six months ago and it is great. The second one I purchased was two weeks ago and the design was a little bit different than the first one that we purchased the seaSon who is potty training right now. We bought one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I purchased the first one about six months ago and it is great. The second one I purchased was two weeks ago and the design was a little bit different than the first one that we purchased. The white toilet seat hole was smaller than on the first seat that we purchased. With a boy, this tends to be an issue with their aim. What I’ve noticed is if you set him back further on the seat that the part where the boys pee is less containing that the first seat. Makes for a little more challenging training at first. Nevertheless, this is a great product

Our son loves this training seat! He was extremely excited to find out that he can use the big potty along with mommy and daddy. The training seat is sturdy and the adjustable step is perfect for him as hes a little on the small side (~34). With the step at its highest point he can easily sit and still have his feet touch the step which makes it more comfortable for him when he needs to poop. The best thing about this seat is that we no longer need to clean the small potty! Because he is a boy we were a little worried about leaking between the seat and toilet but if you place it on the actual toilet bowl, and not on the adult toilet seat, you shouldnt have any issues.

I bought 3 of these chairs - 1 for downstairs, 1 for upstairs, and 1 for my parents house. They work so well! I used them for potty training and my just-turned 2 year old had no issues using them! He can now pick up the chairs and put them on the potty himself if we forget to do it or he beats us to the bathroom. Note: they do not let a boy easily stand to pee. We are now at that point in our potty training (about 8 months in), so we have step stools in our bathrooms for that. They also only fit on oval-shaped toilets. I do have one on a round toilet and we make it work, but its definitely not as sturdy as it is on the oval toilet.

My daughter was giving me a hard time with using the potty chair/toy potty. This made it so much easier. She’s a tad clumsy (she’s only 2), and she can hold onto this seat easily. The step stool part is great also because it’s large enough for her to be able to turn around on it with her feet. It’s very very sturdy and made well. Folds easily to store when not in use. I ordered a different brand for my downstairs toilet since it’s quite a bit taller, and I’m disappointed in that one’s quality in comparison to this. I may return it and buy this one and try to make it work somehow!

This great for my toddler hes a little on the small side and potty trained. Hes no longer scared of falling into the toilet or the unsteadiness of the toddler toilet seat topper. It folds and unfold easily for him to go by himself. It is a little bulky as far as storage, and you do have to lift the toilet seat up to properly use it because putting it on the seat itself, the feet wont touch the floor.

Weve been using this step stool/potty seat for a year and a half now and I do have some thoughts. I do have a big kid. Hes solid and tall for his age, wearing a size 5T since just after he turned three. But hes still a bit short to stand and reach the potty, which is why we got this. He does love it, and it works fairly well. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a couple design points that could have been thought through a bit better. First, the plastic seat itself has worn off the coating on our toilet seat and made it look bad. I guess well have to get a new toilet seat once my kiddo can use the potty without this step. Next, while the removable padded seat part is nice for helpful clean ups, the legs should have much fewer cracks and crevices to clean! A smooth surface would be much easier for parents who are dealing with potty training. As it is, save yourself some time and stick it in the shower, spray it down with cleaner, and use your showerhead hose attachment on it. Just make sure to angle it towards the back of the tub so you dont inadvertently spray yourself. Finally, the large plastic screws that hold the step and legs together seem nice, but I do find myself constantly having to tighten them often. I would almost rather have real metal screws that wouldnt loosen and possibly cause an accident All in all if you can deal with these issues, this seat is a good choice. But I did want to point out the few things I mentioned above as things that I wasnt thinking of when searching for a step stool for my son.

Putting this seat together was a breeze. The material is sturdy. The color was spot on. It is stable when placed on our toilet with the seat up. If the toilet seat is left down the the product does not align properly, at least with our toilet. The only reason I gave this item a 4-star rating is because of three things: 1. The splash guard is not tall enough for little boys; 2. The Velcro is a nice touch until urine gets between the foam seat and the Velcro, then the Velcro loses its sticky component and comes off of the foam cushion; and 3. The width of the seat is a bit to wide for my son who is small for his age, due to having Down syndrome. He loves this new potty and is not scared to climb up the step and sit down. But when he gets on it he feels the need to sit right near the front of the seat because he fears falling in the toilet. This is both good and bad. Good because at least he is in a position where the splash guard will keep him from peeing on me or the wall, but bad because he is not positioned in a manner that allows the urine to fall into the toilet properly which means it ends up under the foam cushion and also drips down his leg or onto the floor. Otherwise, this product has sparked interest in my son who is developmentally behind.

We were struggling to get my son to start potty training before we saw this product. He soon was able to have more successes as we kept working with him. The step is large enough for him to comfortably turn around on after he steps up. Great solution for those that dont want to have to clean out the traditional training potties.
