Of all the surge protectors I have at home this is by far the best design. The plug that goes into the electrical socket in the wall is parallel to it so it can easily fit in tight spaces. It’s a smart design!

Nice quality & affordable power strip for secondary & none important uses. With a decent 1080 joules, I got it to use in my studio for my PC repairs & upgrades, as a switched power source, since some PC power Supplies do not have a switch. More than once in my life I have gone to plug in a PCs power supply, either directly with the cord to the PS or to the wall receptacle & have it short & destroy the power supply. This makes sure these is no power when plugging & unplugging power. Overall I would not use this or ANY surge protector and/or power strip that is not rated as high as you can find for joules for any electrical items you wish to really protect from a possible lightning strip in your neighborhoods power grid. (As an electrician, If you paid less than $20, it likely is nothing but a glorified extension cord.) The higher the joule rating, the higher the price & worth that higher price. Most upper end real Surge Protectors have built in fuses & carry a lifetime $50,000 or higher insurance on anything destroyed while plugged into them. Only catch is you have to keep the original packaging & document something was plugged in & damaged, video or photos using would be good. This power strip is NOT made for that application, so I would only use it for secondary uses & such.
