It wouldn’t come close to punching a hole in leather or nylon. It did however do a great job on a single sheet of paper. I ordered the Pro Master and soon received a proper punch for the application. The eyelets/grommets included turned out to be the exact size I needed for some leather pouches I had that I wanted to connect to key chains. I also punched some holes in a belt and in one of my daughters purse straps to make it shorter. Im very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone for use around the home.

Instructions for use:
1. Mark the desired location where the hole will be made.
2. Release the clasp from the handles.
3. Choose your hole size by firmly rotating the wheel until it locks in place. Note the arrow on the wheel.
4. Place and align the material on the punch plate and squeeze the handles together with a firm grip till the punch pierces through.
5. Release the handles to reveal your neat hole.
6. To store your Master Hole Puncher push the clasp over the handle.
