This leather punch is solidly made and punches cleanly through 10-11 oz tooling leather. I wish it punched slightly bigger holes though. You have to stretch the holes a bit in order to fit eyelets for laces. Maybe its better to have the holes a bit tight Im not sure. Anyway great tool.

Easiest to use

I had a very old hole punch and what a difference. I should have retired my old punch years ago. This new unit works with such ease. It really saves pressure on my hand.

It made a nice clean cuts who are thick piece of leather.

Doesnt open far enough for quarter inch thick belt . Had to tape one side of belt so not to scratch it feeding it into hole cuter

This is one tough piece of equipment! It punched holes of different sizes through a variety of leather belts I own with ease! I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone. Although I did not use it for cloth belts, I have no doubt that it would perform just as admirably.
