I use this to create holes for rivets in fabric purse handles. I used to use an awl or other device to creat a hole. The holes were inadequate and rivets would sometimes bend during setting because the hole was not big enough and the excess fabric got in the way. This tool solved the problem. It cuts a nice clean hole through multiple layers of fabric. It’s heavy duty so sometimes I need to use two hands to squeeze it, but that aspect is what makes it work so well. This is a great hole punch.

Really good investment. Only thing, wish it had a pouch or a decent case to go along with it for storage.

Finally got around to using this leather hole punch. It looks good but it is absolute junk. It has a very hard time going through leather belts and the hole punch is not aligned with the brass circle on which the punch should rest as you push down to cut the leather. Buyer beware EDIT: This is a followup to my original review. The seller reached out to me after seeing my review and advised that I had a malfunctioning punch. They sent another that so far is working fine. Their customer service was outstanding and I had the new hole punch delivered by UPS within two days of emailing this company. I cannot say anything bad about the vendor and the way this matter was handled.

I had bought a bunch of belts that I love but are a bit too big on me. I thought about taking them all to a cobbler to make additional holes. But then I saw this Pro-master hole puncher on Amazon and thought I’d give it a try. I like the Pro-master because it’s NOT MADE IN CHINA!! Shame on Amazon for having so many products from China. But thats not the point. This hole puncher was twice as much as the ones from China but I feel it’s worth it to buy a quality American product. It is a heavy duty, well made product and is very easy to use. I wasn’t sure if I was going to need one of my sons to work the tool but I did it easily myself. They thought of everything you’d need: ruler, awl, screwdriver and additional plates. I wish I had more things that needed holes punched in them because I love using it! I definitely recommend this product!

It produces perfect holes with good finishing. The various hole sizes allowed to matching the belts original design. Overall, it was a good purchase.
