Good product and price. I gave it only three stars because the tape that is supposed to help it attach to the iPad is very flimsy. I took a lot of time cleaning the old sticky tape so that the new one would stick fine but because of the poor quality adhesive used it did not turn out that way.

I am taking off one star because the push button is reaaaaally cheap. Otherwise i’d give 5* for everything. I am really feeling sorry that i didnt try to change my original push button with this one...

It’s difficult for the average person to make the adhesive work... but overall EXTREMELY easy to switch the touch screen out!

Definitely not for inexperienced but if you are comfortable doing this type of work this is the perfect part for you. Top notch product

Product was fix and work for about a month and the home button become hard and unresponsive. Back to level 1.

After installing the new screen, I have found that the home button is not working. Ive opened it again and the home button cuicuit is just missing.

I used this to replace the screen on my son’s iPad mini. His iPad is ALWAYS in a foam kid case, but after breaking his last screen I upgraded to a case with a built in carrying handle and screen protector. The tools that came in the kit were very handy, and except for the difficulty removing all the old glass (the handle of my son’s stroller landed on it and pulverized the glass into little tiny shards), the installation went fairly smoothly. I did notice two things: the replacement piece did not have nearly as Michelle adhesive as the original, and also it seemed lighter, thinner, and more flexible. Sure enough two months later I observed the screen was already cracked in several places. Trying a different brand this time!
