Glass fits properly. Touchscreen does not work at all. Removing the new glass to check connections, broke my retina screen. Connectors were fine but the digitizer was bad.

Screen died a week after it was installed. Attempted to troubleshoot the problem but had no luck. Finally had to take it to a repair shop after I got back in town from a trip (with no iPad...) and the repair shop told me it was a defective screen. Also not the right size for an iPad Mini 2. Realized too late that the return date had passed. I would not recommend buying this in the future from this vendor...

It stopped working after 3 days. It is not a connection issue, but parts of the screen do not work and apps will randomly open and close-ghost touches. Seller was unwilling to exchange or give a refund, so save your money and buy from somewhere else. Not happy.

Half of the screen did not work. Replaced it with a different screen and ipad works fine. They did offer a full refund and the tool kit was nice.

I used this to replace the screen on my son’s iPad mini. His iPad is ALWAYS in a foam kid case, but after breaking his last screen I upgraded to a case with a built in carrying handle and screen protector. The tools that came in the kit were very handy, and except for the difficulty removing all the old glass (the handle of my son’s stroller landed on it and pulverized the glass into little tiny shards), the installation went fairly smoothly. I did notice two things: the replacement piece did not have nearly as Michelle adhesive as the original, and also it seemed lighter, thinner, and more flexible. Sure enough two months later I observed the screen was already cracked in several places. Trying a different brand this time!
