We managed to replace the screen and now the iPad mini looks like new .

Does not last long at all. Several hairline cracks appeared shortly after it was installed, despite very gentle handling.

Very good quality screen and comes with all the tools you need for a good repair.

My son shattered his ipad mini. I thought that this screen would be a better alternative instead of spending 200 at the apple store to have it repaired. I got all the glass out which took about 3 hours because it was shattered everywhere. Then I proceeded in putting everything back together and I went very slow and made sure that I followed the instructions to the tee. After putting everything back together, everything worked fine that day. The issue was, the next day when I turned it on and started trying to install his apps back, a nasty little ghost popped up in the screen and the ipad started going crazy. It was exiting out of apps and bouncing all over the screen. I will probably just end up going to buy a new one.
