I bought this item with no expectations. This is a must buy. Super simple to put in the tools are heavy duty for multiple use. The slypry is a little flimsy but that is a must have when your taking an I pad screen out. Only thing I wish it had was adhesive non non the back of the screen you must buy it separate. Just a little advise for anyone who buys it.

I repair a fair amount of iPad screens and this one cracked when pressed it into place, also glue is not so great you need to use something better. seemed fine on arrival but cracked right away had to order another the second time an apple made one, that worked fine.

Looks and fits fine, but not even close to being as durable as original. iPad in ballistic case fell from couch onto carpeted floor and this replacement screen cracked. Disappointed.

I replaced the digitizer on my GrandDaughters iPad Mini 2. This digitizer was an excellent fit, was well packed and everything went well. I followed the iFixit video on Youtube which was very good. A couple minor nits, it was hard to transfer the two magnets that were attached to the rear of the old digitizer, I used some of the old glue strips from the stock screen to stick the magnets to the new one. Overall it was not a bad project and we are very happy with the result. For anyone doing this I STRONGLY recommend that you put the completed iPad in one of those all-over enclosures, where the case will keep the screen attached to the iPad. This is partly because it is hard to get the digitizer glass to adhere perfectly to the iPad and the case helps but also because those cases offer great protection from falls. My GrandSon has another iPad Mini and the same week his sister damaged the first one he did it to the second. Im ordering a second kit today :-(
