> 3 dayOMG I love these hood struts...... I contacted my local Acura dealer and they tried to charge me $120 to fix my hood struts. Amazon $22 and it literally took me 1 minute to replace them both....... As always thank you for Amazon for saving me a hundred bucks LOL. Amazon is the greatest for a reason

> 3 dayThe hood on my 2011 Acura MDX was not staying up, I ordered these and my husband just popped out the old ones and put in the new ones within 10 minutes. It works great now and no more bumps on the head when checking under the hood!

> 3 daysuch an easy repair for my 13y old MDX. I had been using an empty trash can to prop open the hood since the OE equipment had given up the ghost. took like 8 minutes to remove the old ones and pop in the new ones. I did have to spend some time realigning the metal clamp bands on one of the shocks because i tried to install it wrong, but that was on me and not the product.

> 3 dayOld struts werent strong enough to keep the hood up so bought these. Crazy easy to install. The OEMs have metal clips while these are plastic so it will be interesting to see how they hold up over time. Also a little stiff but worth the $20 to replace my old ones.

23-11-2024Ordered these hoot struts for my 2009 Acura MDX after the original struts began to fail (no longer keeping the hood up), and after hearing the $200+ anticipated charge for the dealership doing the job. Had no difficulties removing the old ones (using a flathead screwdriver) and literally popping in the new ones. Now the hood stays up just like before -- have not had any problems with them since then. Definitely recommended!
