When I purchased this umbrella I liked the quality but, decided to put it in my car (for every day use) and buy something smaller for travel (i.e., for my backpack side pocket). This is about 11.5 inches closed and does have a bit of weight to it. But, I think Im going to buy another for travel after purchasing (and returning) another brand with a smaller profile since this is so nice and works so well. Im not a long time user of the umbrella and Ive only had to use it once. But, I can verify this appears to be a quality, well made umbrella. As with most umbrella, you have to work to get it back into its little fabric sleeve. The spring action (for opening) is fast and strong. As Ive read from others it does take a bit of muscle to compress it back down but, any adult or even medium-size child (10 years old +) should be able to handle with no problem.

I bought 4 for my kids: 1 pink, 1 blue (1st and 3rd picture) and 2 black (2nd picture). The stitches that hold the ribs to the canopy are minimal. The blue umbrella has a couple spots where the stitching appears to be coming undone. The black umbrella has a rib that is completely missing the stitching towards the outer edge. I just received these today and haven’t used them yet so I am only able to rate how the product arrived.

The photo and description of the umbrella were on point. I really like the blue cloudy sky look on the inside. It fits perfectly into my travel backpack.

Sturdy

For me, the umbrella is unique. It opens completely with a single push of the handle button and collapses very quickly and somewhat startling with another push of the same handle button. The last step is to reduce the shaft length by pushing the two ends together until it clicks. A weaker person will find it easier to reduce the shaft length by placing one hand on top of the other and bracing the other end against the floor.

This was a great buy! There were so many options that pulled-up when looking to buy an umbrella on amazon. But this one stood out to me. It had very good reviews, exceptional customer service, company backing its product quality, and a highly competitive price. So I purchased it. What you get for the price is outstanding. The umbrella is automatic, well made, and of very good quality. We have used it a couple time already, and it had fared very well so far. It is also very easy to use. When I say that, I am emphasizing kids here. I wanted to get it for my 9 year old, so she could use it when waiting at the bus stop and back and forth school. She has had no trouble operating it (as it is super easy and opens/shuts at the click of a button), and it doesnt blow over/up-side-down on a windy day. At least it hasnt so far. She loves it, and would not trade with for any other umbrella we currently have at home. All in all - This is a great product, and we are very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended!!!

i love tge bright color, the ease of operation and closing. It has a cover that slips on with ease!

My 10/yo son loves this umbrella. It’s easy to use and in his words, “feels so satisfying” to open and close. It has strong durability and great responsiveness. The blue sky design is just the cherry on top that I never knew we needed. It makes you want to wish for rain and sing in it too!

arrived soon and as expected, auto both open/close, quality is good.
