> 3 dayThis is a very nice umbrella. Very sturdy, but I dropped a star from 5 to 4 because its quite heavy and bulky for a woman to put in her handbag. However, I still recommend it, because the cloud design on the inside is interesting, and also because I saw the exact same umbrella on a big well known department stores web site, and the identical umbrella was going to about $60 more. Amazons price for this sturdy umbrella is worth the price.

> 3 dayGreat well made umbrella. Lightweight but still good quality. Perfect size to keep in the car during the rainy season!

> 3 dayIm still going to give it 5 stars never its a great umbrella, but the handle is awkward. I think its supposed to be ergonomic, but its uncomfortable and forces you to hold the umbrella a specific way. It makes it harder to hold on to when its very windy and you might need to use a slight different or stronger grasp.

> 3 dayUPDATED REVIEW: I did not initially realize this product (and company) offers a lifetime warranty! I contact the, received a replacement in only 3 days, and have tested it out. So far it it seems to be well made, and looks like it will be as durable as advertised. Perhaps I received a defective one previously, but these folks made things right, and that means I will always come back to them first. INITIAL REVIEW: I had this in my car as an emergency umbrella, since I usually wear my rain jacket or poncho. In just three light uses one of the metal rods snapped so while the umbrella does open it flops down in one quarter. This is very disappointing quality since this was not used frequently at all and stowed away where it would not get damaged. I guess 20 bucks for two years use is not bad but in this case it was three individual situations and that is s shame. Next time, I’ll either look to spend a bit more for quality, or be willing to settle for an inferior product and prepare for imminent failure if I choose to look for a cheaper option like this.

> 3 dayThe umbrella works fine and is certainly better than no umbrella. It is a bit light and flimsy. Any wind makes it feel like it’s going to blow away if you don’t hold it very close and tight. Moderate wind makes it feel like it’s going to flip inside out - although it hasn’t yet. I try to hold it carefully against the wind. A minor thing that bothers me is that you have to completely collapse the stem after it’s been opened before it will reopen. Doesn’t seem like a big deal. But... I used the umbrella to get to my car after work. I closed the top but left the stem extended when I got in the car. I went to get out at home and was stuck messing with the umbrella in the rain and cut myself. Trying to open it, realizing it wouldn’t, then having to close it and reopen it completely for it to work. It wouldn’t be such a big deal except that I cut/punctured my hand in the process of trying to open it all while getting rained on. It’s small enough to fit in my backpack very easily but just a tad too long for most of my purses. Overall it’s fine.
