Very good game. Worker placement with collection to pay for viking raids. Played it today with one other person it was really great. I would like to play it again with more players and see how it works. I have already kickstarted the 2 expansions for this game.

A really solid worker-placement game with a really solid ruleset. For the price point, I cant recommend many other games that can do as much as it does. Each turn is taken by first placing your one worker, gaining the effect of the location you placed them (earning provisions/silver/crew/etc) and then finishing your turn by removing a worker on the board, also gaining its effect. You can choose to raid instead at the beginning of your turn if you have the requirements (crew size/provisions/gold), and youll gain VP and resources as a reward. Theres so much more beneath that and competing against the other raiders for the same locations under constraints like that is super fun.

Fun game, beautiful artwork & wonderful components. This game is a homerun and I believe that its a must have. Game play is smooth & so much fun that after playing it the first time I was itchy to play it again. Game is a light-to-mid-weight Viking worker placement. In this game you are trying to gather resources in the village, recruit Viking warriors and go plunder nearby town areas for their resources. Turns are fast as you either work in the village or go to war as you plunder; either work or war. There are many ways to gain victory points (glory) so have fun.

This is a very fun game once you get going. The most overwhelming part is setting up the game but even then once you figure it out its not hard. Its pretty fast paced and really fun. You never know who is going to win until the end and there are multiple different strategies for winning.

I got into the trilogy of games and theyre super fun, good game play, have enjoyable artwork, and while they have a very slight learning curve once youve got it youll really enjoy!

We love this game. We have played it 4 times now and everyone from our almost 80 year old parents to our 10 year old son love it. The instructions and game play are very easy to follow. Its complicated without being too frustrating. Get this game if you love everything Viking and even if you dont. Its just a fun game.
