Didnt work

Its not unusual to get a defective part so Im not going to hammer this with a one star (if I had ordered 2 or more and they had been defective, then yes). The one I ordered did have the copper vs aluminum around the inside glass. You will need Kapton tape during the installation across the bottom contacts and to wrap the ic (if you fail to do this you will get screen jumping) The left third of the digitizer stopped responding after about 2-3 days. Returned.

Ordered this product before and the screen stopped responding correctly. Since then Ive ordered 2 more screens. On one tablet the home button completely stopped working, on the other tablet the home button is acting like it wants to quit working and the glue doesnt stick.

Junk, home button has already quit working and the screen flickers.

Did not work, arrived with flex connector torn off and shattered to bits.

I would rate this product with half star or lower,If there is lower than one star. It came with broken glass in the upper right of the screen that I didnt notice until I began with the replacement process. Short story (not worth it).

Was working fine when I installed it 4 days later middle of the screen would not respond, opened up the ipad cleand the space between the lcd and digitizer with no results.

I would not recommend this replacement screen. Mine arrived in perfect condition wrapped in bubble wrap. However when installed has a 1 dead spot on the screen that does not respond to touch. Clearly a faulty digitizer. I read a couple reviews that said the same thing. I assumed it was only a handful of bad digitizers so I ordered it anyways. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for.
