Hands down the best OEM replacment for an ipad mini no soldering just plug in and go if you have been fixing screens for as long as I have you would agree..i see alot of negative reviews about the quality of this product....its refurbished.....its not brand new...it does the job. This is garbage I installed it no good did not work !!!

Worked as its supposed to. This was a actually my second try changing the screen of an iPad which I had failed the first time because I bought it off another seller but this one saved.

This is the first time I have had to replace a broken screen on an iPad Mini 2.. Like most, I watched a video on how to repair. I found the screen to be slightly thinner than the original. The adhesive on the back was not as high of quality as expected. There was no adhesive for the top magnet. I did not expect any for the bottom since the video showed that I had to tape it. I also found a lot of Kapton tape near the home button which suggests that the unit was returned and refurbished to prevent electrical shorts. One word of warning. Before securing the large metal plate, turn the unit on to test the LCD and touch screen. Dont wait until just before sealing to test. I had to redo the connections twice before the unit worked ( had to unscrew the LCD and large metal plate 3 times.). This procedure takes a lot of patience especially for us older folks. PS. I used a small low heat hot plate instead of a heat gun to soften the glue.
