We are Dominion junkies. Yes, we need a Dominion Anonymous class. We admit it. We enjoy all of the expansions from the original game, but this one offers the most cards, the most possibilities, and some of the craziest combos. Do you want to deal with Death Carts and capitalize with Foragers and Scavengers? Do you want to risk messing with Rats, Junk Dealers, and Market Squares? Are you more of a Hermit (who has never heard of Dominion) or a Madman (who cant stop playing)? That just scratches the surface of themes you can go with.

This was the first expansion I purchased after owning Intrigue. I love the use of the trash pile and giving my opponents useless ruins cards. The knight cards are fun to use as you can get rid of game-winning cards that your opponents have. Good expansion, my friends and I have played this with Intrigue for hours non-stop.

This expansion deals with new cards that you use in the beginning of the game instead of three Estates. Other cards can not be bought, but only gained if you do something. Lots of Trashyopportunities to trash unwanted cards or to trash to upgrade. More Trashy opportunities to grab cards from the trash. Love it!

The Dominion game and the expansions are amazing! They are great card playing that lasts from 40-60 minutes depending on number of players. This expansion was just as a good as the others and the cards are durable and well constructed. The game playing within the cards is also quite interesting. Definitely recommend for the Dominion fan. I would say to get this after getting other expansion packs, though, such as prosperity.

Game is fun to learn and challenging for older kids and adults. Some cards are more useful for strategy than others, but you can pick and choose.

My whole family enjoys Dominion, and this expansion is my personal favorite so far. The sheer number of cards is huge--35 new kingdom cards as well as ruins, spoils, and shelters--and I still havent played with all of them yet but so far the new mechanics have been very enjoyable. The Dark Ages theme is really carried throughout this expansion; the card titles and artwork are centered on decay and squalor, the shelter and ruins cards are almost humorously close to being worthless, but not quite so, and many of the action cards seem useless until you think about their effects more carefully. This expansion really brings the trash pile into its own; about half the new cards involve trashing a card, almost a third trigger an effect when a card is trashed, and several let you gain a card from the trash or offer some benefit based on what is in the trash. My wife, my 10-year-old, and I have enjoyed Dark Ages-only games where we randomly selected what cards to use. Theres a lot here to explore!

Fantastic just caused mild constipation after I ate the cards. Over all the taste was a 9/10 great buy!

I love this expansions. A LOT of new cards. A lot of trashers and cards that deal with trash. Really cool mechanics. Enjoyment is guaranteed!

Times have been hard. To save on money, you have moved out of your old castle, and into a luxurious ravine. You didn"t like that castle anyway, it was always getting looted, and never at a reasonable hour. And if it wasn"t barbarians it was the plague, or sometimes both would come at once, and there wouldn"t be enough chairs. The ravine is great, you get lots of sun, and you can just drop garbage wherever you want. In your free time you have taken up begging. Begging is brilliant conceptually, but tricky in practice, since no one has any money. You beg twigs from the villagers, and they beg them back, but no one really seems to come out ahead. That"s just how life is sometimes. You are quietly conquering people, minding your own business, when suddenly there"s a plague, or barbarians, or everyone"s illiterate, and it"s all you can do to cling to some wreckage as the storm passes through. Still, you are sure that, as always, you will triumph over this adversity, or at least do slightly better than everyone else. This is the 7th addition to the game of Dominion. It is 500 cards but is not a stand-alone. It adds 35 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, plus new bad cards you give to other players (Ruins), new cards to replace starting estates (shelters), and cards you can only get via specific other cards. The central themes are the trash and upgrading. There are cards that do something when trashed, cards that care about the trash, cards that upgrade themselves, and ways to upgrade other cards.
