Greater than one weekI have yet to try this product on fabric as I bought it to dye rabbit pelts. This product doesnt bond well to hair / fur so keep that in mind! Might work for faux fur though.

> 3 dayI used these to dye some wool fabric on a chair. I wanted it to make a light gray fabric turn to black. It worked ok, but even after using three whole bottles of this stuff, the chair still came out a light charcoal colored rather than black. I did all the stuff to set the color with vinegar, heat, Retayne, etc. This stuff just isnt industrial strength, so it doesnt create a true black, or even close to it.
