17-04-2025I followed the instructions and all but the pants that I wear have a weird not so black color. I will increase the amount I used next time and see but it did get my pants darker just not what I expected.

> 3 dayI was hesitant at first, but after trying it on some faded black shirts and jeans I have to say Im completely impressed and totally worth the money. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to darken their clothes to its original color.

> 3 dayI have yet to try this product on fabric as I bought it to dye rabbit pelts. This product doesnt bond well to hair / fur so keep that in mind! Might work for faux fur though.

Greater than one weekIf youre worried about mess, do what I do. Get a plastic tub and fill it with hot water outside. I just carry it out in a big pot and yes, its a pain. Put a kettle on and keep adding boiling water here and there to keep it super hot. That way you can avoid destroying your kitchen. Add several cups of salt, some vinegar and dish detergent and make sure its all mixed up very well. You HAVE to keep turning the fabric while its dyeing or itll be patchy. The bottle says all of this, so theres really no guesswork. Leaving the fabric in the dye longer might help, but not much. Youre just more likely to get patches. Just buy in bulk and expect a few go-rounds if youre doing something lighter colored. I just did a light blue duvet cover and it came out dark purple after an hour, which was expected. One more time should get it all the way to black based on previous experience.
