> 3 dayI used this on 4 pairs of black jeans. It worked very well! But the jeans have already started to fade after just a couple of washes. So be sure to use the stuff that sets the die in. Ill try that next time.

> 3 dayI used these to dye some wool fabric on a chair. I wanted it to make a light gray fabric turn to black. It worked ok, but even after using three whole bottles of this stuff, the chair still came out a light charcoal colored rather than black. I did all the stuff to set the color with vinegar, heat, Retayne, etc. This stuff just isnt industrial strength, so it doesnt create a true black, or even close to it.

> 3 dayThis product is complete junk. I follow the directions completely and used a white tank top to see exactly what it would do. It turned a white tank top purple. Do not buy this product. Its claims are completely false. It will not die anything black. If you could not dye a white tank top black it cannot dye anything black.

> 3 dayI was able to do two pairs of pants with a full bottle. Probably three pairs but I didn’t want to push my luck on the first try. I did read and follow all the instructions (from the Rit dye website where they noted it’s washing machine safe) but my washing machine is still purple… running a rinse cycle with bleach right now to see if that helps.
