Overall for the price I have really enjoyed this keyboard. There is however one thing I am not particularly fond of. That’s the keys not functioning/working when the board is low on charge. If you keep it plugged in this is no problem, but why plug in a technically wireless keyboard.

First impressions out of the box were great. Keyboard is nice and heavy, keys have a wonderful sound with the brown switches. Only issue I have is the lack of a manual for all the shortcuts and the key combinations. Its taken me way too much time searching to find out how this keyboard functions. Asides from that the keyboard is great because it works both corded and blue tooth and via USB dongle. Its a perfect size and the weight is substantial to most generic plastic keyboards. I would recommend for an entry level user and someone looking to learn about pulling keyboards apart and upgrading. I use it generally for gaming and chatting and it has been a good experience. Some might miss the extra keys but make sure you read which keys are not included for your gaming puposes.

Its a great keyboard, But it has a few faults. One would be the method used to lock into a different key mode. Say if you want to lock the Arrow keys to the /?, Alt, Menu, and Ctrl options. You have to do this weird combination of clicks a certain number of times, Which I always forget and have to read the manual to figure out how to change it back. It also switches the Backspace key with Delete which I find quite annoying, Since one button combo does both but the amount of times youve entered depicts if it actually changes. Ive used a few different 60% boards before but never came across the same issues as Ive had with this one. Its still a great keyboard however. For the Price it has a lot of other boards beat. If youre gaming, I wouldnt recommend this keyboard. Its rubber feet help keep it steady, But after a few months of use, It seems that one of the sides has become considerably softer than the others, causing many missed clicks do to the board moving around even during a competitive play session. If youre just typing Its just as youd expect from cheery mx browns, Clicky and responsive. Some may not enjoy its loud clanks, But I personally find them quite satisfying. Say if youre a student who wants to get some typing done anywhere on their phone at desktop keyboard speeds, This board is right for you. If you dont move around a lot or work in different spaces, I would recommend getting yourself a full sized board due to the added functions this board is mission, like the number pad and dedicated Fx keys.

Not my favorite but not my least favorite either. I wish it had a wireless feature but it doesn’t but that’s okay, it has a great build quality but it’s just really plain looking. If you don’t care for looks and or wireless compatibility I would buy it.

My daughter keeps on telling me to get this product online because it’s good price compare to other stores.It’s definitely a good quality too.

I ordered a black keyboard with BROWN switches for my daughter. I was sent blue. At that point, my choices were: A.) just keep it. But I felt annoyed that I specifically ordered brown and got blue. B.) return it for an exchange. But the exchange option only says exact exchange, and I was worried theyd send me blue again...even though the invoice specifically says I ordered BROWN. C.) return if for a full refund and then go back and buy the same black keyboard again with brown switches, and hold my breath hoping they would send brown this time. But the price went up, so it didnt seem fair that I should have to pay MORE for their mistake. So, I opted for option B. I specifically told them in the message that I ordered brown switch, I was sent blue switch, and to please send me brown and that I did NOT want blue again. Well, I just received the exchanged keyboard. And guess what? Blue. Seriously?!! Blue again. I am so ticked right now! This blows my mind! Never mind that the keyboard is really nice. Never mind that the colored lights are AMAZING. Not listening to what customers order...TWICE NOW...REALLY turns me off!! To add the this story....let me tell you that I also ordered, for myself, their white keyboard in brown switch. I got a white keyboard in brown switch. Its perfect. its exactly what I wanted. Having both blue and brown switches makes me even more upset, because I greatly prefer the sound of the brown. The blue is very clicky. We live in a 70 mobile home. I can hear my daughter doing her online school work on the blue switch keyboard even when we are on opposite sides of the house. I see that other people have also complained that theyve received the wrong color switches. I dont understand this. Why? If brown isnt available anymore, then please take the option off! If I had been sent the black keyboard in brown switch, like I had ordered, I would have given this keyboard 5 stars, hands down. Heck, even if I was originally sent the wrong color blue switch, but had they sent the right brown one in the exchange....I would have given it 5 stars, no problem. Because the keyboard is really nice. Are you thinking its unfair of me to leave 2 stars for a really nice keyboard? No, its not.....BECAUSE I ASKED, TWO TIMES NOW, FOR BROWN SWITCHES AND TWO TIMES IVE RECEIVED BLUE. Enough of this nonsense! What a hassle! I guess we will just keep the one blue switch keyboard. Ill end this long review by saying that if you are trying to decide between the black keyboard and the white....definitely choose the white! It is AMAZING!! The lights are soooo much more brighter and vivid on the white keyboard than on the black. As I said, I have both, and the lights on the black one are, frankly, a disappointment in comparison to the white. I received the black one first (in the wrong switch color, remember) and we thought the colors were great. Then the white one arrived...and it blew us out of the water! We turned out the lights and were oohing and aahing. Plus, the white one came with the brown switches like I ordered...so that was a plus. So, the moral of this story is....I recommend the white keyboard. You will be so pleased. I recommend brown switches....they have a much softer click sound than the louder clicky blue switches. But its a crap shoot whether youre going to even get brown switches. Dont bet on it. This is definitely one of the top 3 budget keyboards Id definitely recommend especially if youre looking for a small or minimal 60% look or simply dont need the functionality of the function row or numpad. When purchasing make sure you know what kind of switches you want because you have the option of linear reds, tactile browns, or clicky blues. I went with browns since Ive used reds before, but felt a little too light for me to the touch. I included 2 pictures with different keycaps. The first pic has some HyperX pudding keycaps, and the second pic are the keycaps it comes with along with a 10 CMYK keycap set, similar to what comes with the Anne Pro 2 60% keyboards. This is definitely worth it. I only wish that it came with at least Outemus or Gaterons instead of their proprietary RK switches, but if you want you can purchase the ones you want, as long as its compatible with the pcb, and do some soldering. I also did lube the stabilizers, as recommended by some, to negate the ping-y sound that may reverberate when pushing on the keys that have stabilizers (shift, enter, and especially spacebar). I used dielectric grease that I purchase at a local autozone (you can also find it at home depot, or any hardware or auto store), that only cost me $1 during a sale, but only normally $5 or less. Do this and youll have an amazing 60% mechanical keyboard. The RGBs arent too dim and actually brighter than the ones I had on a previous Tecware Phantom 87 TKL. I love the led patterns on this a lot, but you can also turn them off if you want to. The wireless and bluetooth functionality on this keyboard is also very easy to use. Make sure you read the manual! Itll have the commands/inputs you need if your keyboard does not automatically pair to the device you want. You can pair it up to 3 devices such as your Pc, Ipad, and/or Iphone or anything with bluetooth functionality. I usually use this wired since its specifically for gaming, but I can see this being of use as a portable wireless keyboard on the go since it is only a 60%. Ive only found one issue that might of been on my end, and that was when I tried using a cheapo usb that had leds on this versus the one it came with, or one of decent quality. The usb I tried using was mostly for aesthetics since it blinked blue/red leds, but was also just cheap and gimmicky. Other than that I have had know issues, and Ive own this for a few months now. If anything changes I will update this review.

I usually never write reviews for anything I purchase. The RK61 has gone above and beyond all my expectations. Some of the highest quality stabilizers, keycaps, and RBG lighting I’ve ever seen. For under $60, this is an absolute steal. Mine also came with a coiled cable, foam mod, and some foamed stabs. Amazing keyboard in almost all regards.

I like this keyboard, it connects seamlessly to any device. There arent any problems with the keys or inputs. The red switches are silent enough to where they can be used without worry in any scenario. The only complaint I have with it is that the arrow keys are put on the bottom left with the up arrow on the same key as the /? key making it weird when you want to press those keys.

If youre someone that wants a quieter keyboard and quit using a keyboard with cherry blue switches, which can be quite loud, the RK Royal Kludge RK61 RGB is the perfect choice. With quiet brown switches, it feels like youre typing on marshmallows. I mean who doesnt want to feel marshmallows on your fingertips. Thats weird but whatever. For the RGB lights, I would give it a 8/10. Ive seen better RGB lights in keyboards such as Razer, which theyre very known for having vibrant colorful lights. The keycaps that are made from the brand itself is astonishing. They feel great. I would say that could be better than other keycaps such Logitech keycaps or Steel Series. If youre trying to have a small and wireless keyboard that looks like very Pinterest photo you see, this is the keyboard for you. Having it in white looks very clean but sure that you clean every once in a while since white keyboards are known for getting dirty real easily. If you claim yourself to be messy and likes to eat near your keyboard, I suggest getting it in black. But thats all about PREFERENCES. I definitely getting more keyboards from this brand in the future from now on! Keyboard: 9/10
