I loved this keyboard but out of no where some of the keys randomly stopped working.

It is worth the money and a really great typing experience. Takes a while to get used to the function keys.

I must say, this keyboard is legit. Im coming from a CORSAIR - LUX K65 RGB Cherry MX keyboard, this keyboard performs just as well. Time will tell the longevity of it, but for now i have not dropped in performance quality. To make it simple, i will list my Cons and Pros. Pros: -Very small and compacted -Wireless -Key switches can compare to top tier mechanical keyboards -Detachable cord -Fast response (via usb connection) -A lot of RGB options -Can connect to anything that is Bluetooth capable Cons: -Software does not work -Due to the none functioning software you can not set any MACROS -Wireless connection has latency (make sure your keyboard and your PC Bluetooth are close for better connection) - Can not set a specific color to any keys In conclusion, is you do not care for RGB and Macros this is a well built mechanical keyboard. Would like to thank Amazon for providing me with a discount due to the software issues. Reason I kept the keyboard is simply because I can take it anywhere. EDIT: Like I mentioned on my original review, lets see how long it holds up. Sad to say, my D key is not functional at all now. This keyboard has so much potential but you are taking a risk with a not well known brand. EDIT: May 5, 2020: Now my second keyboard (replacement) just started having issues, the W key and E. Honestly, this is a poor designed product. Ive had cheaper membrane keyboards from back in the early 2000s that currently work. I can not get a refund from Amazon, lets see if i can get one from the company. EDIT: May 14th, 2020: Since my keyboard has past the Amazon warranty, i decided to contact the seller and company. i was asked by the company if i knew how to swab switches, i told them no but i was willing to learn. So i asked them if they can send me 2 switches. Their response was, due to the covid pandemic its hard for them to ship switches form China, and ask me if i can purchase them. Keep in mind, 2 switches cost around $10, soldering equipment around $40, switch puller $8 to $10. This is mind-boggling to say the least, and an easy excuse to tell you to F off. If you add this up, i can buy a brand new keyboard. I just want people to be aware of the type of company you are purchasing from. EDIT: 11/03/2021 So after a year and half I had customer service reach out to me via email apologizing the way I was treated by their company and offered me a brand new (upgraded) keyboard. I want to thank Leslie for reaching out and sending a new unit. I will say that the company has made changes to their customer service and would definitely recommend.

I ordered this item twice. I ordered originally a Blue Switch keyboard. I did not receive the item I wanted, and the keyboard died after I swapped the switches, Due to error with the keyboard and the PCB. I returned the item after the seller did not want to send me a replacement , they wanted me to send a video to troubleshoot the faulty PCB. I understand they were trying their best but I was frustrated more or less. I ordered the item again, being frisky and wanting Browns. I then received the same switch I got last time which was Reds , I wish the sell could atleast check the item and contact the customer before sending a random key switch instead of the ordered one. As of right now I still have the keyboard. Im not gonna bother changing out the switches , but if I could return this I would but I really like the keyboard. So if you plan on getting anything other than Reds just cross your fingers, or you might just get Reds anyways.

You cant go wrong with this gaming advantage. I use a full size gaming pad 36 x 12 and needed a smaller keyboard (61 keys) to handle a 360 turn in my games while using full arm/wrist actions. This makes the grade. The keyboard is molded with a gradual rise to offer the perfect height to take the weight off my keyboard wrist. Quality construction with good weight and durability. The keyboard comes with the ability to connect via bluetooth or wired (bluetooth dongle included). Wired mode is best recommended set up to enjoy a noticeable, in-game response time. Hot swappable red switches (for extra fast reaction time) with extra keys and a key extractor come with it. Coiled power cable for keyboard movement and placement. RGB function keys with instructions are enclosed to apply your own personal, customized lighting pattern. Ive used it for a month now and it does everything as advertised. I recommend this as the best buy to go for a gaming upgrade when you need extra space on your computer or gaming desktop. Game on!

So on their original model which is the first picture Ive had for like 3 or 4 years now and for how cheap it was I loved it, now for the new models the second and third pictures which I purchased in the Pro Versión. The wireless, and The Wired versión are all the same Models which different features of course, the thing is I cant do what I do with the older models with the new models. The combination of Spacebar and N is what I use to super glide, I tried the same inputs on all three keyboards and nothing, I cannot replicate the movement that Im used to on apex with these new models. Other than that is a good keyboard I suppose

I got the red switches in mine with white keycaps to really show off the RBG. The sound right off the bat was pretty good, I filled the keycaps with UV resin because I want the THOCK. Im also going to lube the switches and put foam in it as well but those mods will come about later. Now for the keyboard itself! Its honestly pretty great. It has a solid weight and the sound isnt too bad out of the box either. The switches feel nice but I feel like some lube will be pretty great for these tbh. I did have to replace one of the switches right away because it kept actuating even after I released it. There were four replacement switches included so it was really easy to just use the included tool to swap it out and that fixed the problem. its also pretty nice to type on in terms of height. Its at the right height for me so its been pretty easy to adjust to.

To conclude, the Royal Kludge RK61, in my opinion, is one of the best budget alternatives to the popular Anne Pro 2 when it comes to 60% compact keyboards. The layer implementation on this keyboard is very well thought off with a combination of both activating each layer and toggling it using the FN key which makes transitioning to this compact form factor much easier for beginners. The typing experience, for the most part, is very good with the RK red switch having a smooth up and down travel, my only issue is with the quite rattly spacebar. Gaming performance is also pretty decent in both wired and wireless mode since NKRO works properly on both. Although I had some issues with Bluetooth connectivity on one of my 2 RK61, the one that I’ve been using for months now as a backup keyboard works flawlessly without any perceivable latency which is very vital. The battery endurance is also quite substantial with power-saving mode. Overall, there’s not much to complain about this keyboard and for its price, I don’t think there’s any reason not to get it if you’re looking for the best budget 60% compact keyboard.

Edit 01/29/20: Theres something wrong with this board. My first one had this weird issues where some keys would continually register. For example, if I pressed the A key once, the keyboard would think I was holding the key down and input an infinite number of A keystrokes. I had a replacement board set and it happened again. It doesnt happen often, I usually just unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. This happened on the original and the replacement, with different USB C cables, and on different computers. I love the keyboard, but this is an annoyance for sure Overall, Im happy. I went from a TKL Outemu Red switch gaming keyboard to this 60% (not sure if Kailh or Outemu) Brown switch keyboard. So far, its great. The lighting effects are plentiful an awesome. I swapped in the HyperX White Pudding keycaps and the RGB looks even better now. The switches feel pretty good for browns and the stabilizers are totally fine, despite some of the other reviews. I plan to use this in wired mode for gaming. However, I tested out bluetooth just for daily use (such as web browsing), and it works flawlessly. Im very happy with this keyboard.

I was initially drawn to the aesthetic of the keyboard, and it definitely does not disappoint. It is a fantastic looking keyboard. Unfortunately, 60% keyboards are generally form over function, sacrificing usability for a smaller (albeit nicer looking) footprint. Also nice that it comes with a coiled cable too, which adds even more the aesthetic. Now onto the bad parts: I would recommend 60% keyboard to most people. Again, I recognize that this isnt the companys fault, but there are a lot of small differences between using a 60% keyboard and a more traditionally sized one. First of all, the F keys are all compressed into the the number row (you can look at the picture product for reference). Each key in the top row has four different functionality and it is not at all intuitive how you switch between using the top row as function and as numbers (you hit Fn + Left Shift). If you do anything or play any games that require both the F keys and numbers (aka League), this keyboard will likely not cut it. Also to hit tilde (~), you have to hit Fn + Shift + Esc. Basically, if you want to use this keyboard, you will have to relearn a lot of muscle memory, which takes a bit of getting used to (not impossible though). And getting used to the keyboard wouldnt be that bad if the software on the keyboard was more intuitive. One last but nitpicky point: the space bar is significantly louder and makes a more distinct sound than other keys. I havent had mine for even a week and I am returning it. I think it is a great product, but I myself should have understood what it takes to use a 60% keyboard more. I will return this for a 70% one.
