05-06-2025I found this product did what the advertising said it would do and it was fairly well made. I could think off a couple of improvements, but thats another story. I believe you will be happy with this product.

Greater than one weekI like everything about this product except for 1 thing. The product description says 2 come with an order but I only had one. I put an order for 2 thinking I would get 4 ratchets but I only received 2 ratchets. Not a huge problem Ill just order 2 more.

> 3 dayI bought these to hang 3” and 4” schedule 40 fire suppression pipe in some electrical motor control centers. The MCCs have unistrut running across the ceiling every 3’ so we Would spring nut two hole L brackets to the strut in two places to the side of where we’re going to run the pipe. Grab the rope ratchet and put a hook in each L bracket, cinch it up until it’s right under the height the pipe will be resting, grab the pipe, screw it in to get it started, cinch the rope up under the pipe so that it’s now holding the pipe, grab the pipe wrench and tighten it up all the way. Then we hang the permanent supports. Rinse and repeat. These were invaluable running the four inch. If we got tired from trying to maneuver that heavy mess we could just set the pipe on the ropes. I bought two of these and I will probably buy a couple more. Sorry the only picture I have is of the tail of the rope but I put it in so you would see the type of place it was being used.

> 3 dayI used the rope ratchet to lift the malt pipe from the boil pot of my Anvil Foundry brewer. It worked like a charm. I was able to pull the malt pipe out slowly allowing the grain to drain slowly and completely. It is well constructed and rugged enough for brewing. I love that it is an American made product.

> 3 dayBest and easiest tie downs I have ever owned. No more struggling with those stupid ratchet handled things. These are EASY! Pull a rope to tighten and push a button to loosen. That is it.

Greater than one weekThese are the greatest thing since pockets. I am an ASE master mechanic with 39 years experience. For years I have used bungee cords to hold up things like drive shafts when pulling transfer cases or transmissions. Imagine my surprise when a young mechanic started at my shop and had rope ratchets to hold things out of the way which can be used with one hand as opposed to using both hands with a bungee cord. I didn’t know these existed. I immediately purchased a pair and wish I had known about them 38 years ago. You can teach this old dog new tricks
