> 24 hourEasy to install, appears to be keeping sand out of my irrigation system. I had to install the drain valve a second time as it was leaking. I really enjoy checking on it and seeing how much sand is being collected.

> 24 hourNext time I would get less restrictive mesh screen. Water pressure is too low.

> 24 hourIt does the job as it is designed to do.

> 24 hourThe reverse flush valve never worked properly and was difficult to turn. Eventually the valve handle broke and the valve had to be replaced.

> 24 hourHad to replace the old one when I had plumbing work done. Remember female copper to PVC works not the other way around

> 24 hourAfter horrible experience with a twistiiclean filter, I finally replaced with this Rusco filter. Its very well constructed; you can tell the minute you pick it up. Unlike other filters requiring disassembly for cleaning, the flush valve at the bottom is super convenient! 5 stars! TIP: I recommend getting an 90-degree elbow fitting for the bottom and attaching a short hose so that the water goes where you want it when you flush the filter.

> 24 hourWorks well and doesnt seem to have a big impact on flow rate. Easy to clean. I used to stop sediment in well from clogging irrigation system zone valves. No issues since installation.

> 24 hourIt does filter very well. I changed the pvc valve to a brass valve to make it easier to turn. The pvc valve is a bit harder and other reviewers mentioned breaking the housing with it. It does not self clean at all tho. I take it apart each time.

> 24 hourIm on well water that has a lot of manganese in it. I put two of these sediment filters upstream of a Big Blue 20 DGD-2501 filter and they extend the filter element life two of three times. I do use the flushing feature fairly regularly (once a week or more in the rainy season) At first I had 100 and 250 mesh screens in these housings, but have stepped it up to 140 and 500 screens to see if I can extend the filter life even more. I great product that does exactly what I wanted. Running the washing machine is where I really see whats going on. However, if I had to do it over again, Id get the bigger housing (1.5 inlet & outlet, vice 1) to see if it would increase flow when the screens were getting plugged.
