> 24 hourHad to replace the old one when I had plumbing work done. Remember female copper to PVC works not the other way around

> 24 hourIm on well water that has a lot of manganese in it. I put two of these sediment filters upstream of a Big Blue 20 DGD-2501 filter and they extend the filter element life two of three times. I do use the flushing feature fairly regularly (once a week or more in the rainy season) At first I had 100 and 250 mesh screens in these housings, but have stepped it up to 140 and 500 screens to see if I can extend the filter life even more. I great product that does exactly what I wanted. Running the washing machine is where I really see whats going on. However, if I had to do it over again, Id get the bigger housing (1.5 inlet & outlet, vice 1) to see if it would increase flow when the screens were getting plugged.

> 24 hourThis is easily the best value for spin down filters. Ive had it installed for a few months now and it has worked perfectly. I flush it about once a month. No leaks or cracks. I would highly recommend this.

> 24 hourIm on a well system and this does a good job of filtering out the sand. Im using it outside to filter the water on a hose so that I can use the sprayer and sprinklers without them clogging up. Im confident enough to use this filtered waster to wash the car. The drain make it easy to dump the sand periodically. Nice product and I plan to add one to my house as a pre screen to my whole house filter.

> 24 hourI am pushing about 12 gal/min through this. I have 2 sediment traps in the line because this didnt seem to stop much. Both have a 100 mesh screen. The 2nd trap stops more than this. I was going to change to 100 mesh followed by a finer mesh but not sure I can do that now.

> 24 hourThe 100 mesh filter is a little much for irrigation, youd be better with 40 or 60 mesh.

> 24 hourHad to change my Whole house filter every month due to fine sand up to the top. Was a struggle to pull out the filter with all the sand. Installed this sucker and now I change my filter ever 3 month with only a tiny bit of sand on the bottom of the screw on filter container. Tough Construction, ball valve is nice. Have to be a super clutz to break this thing. Spray the sediment into a bucket every day or two or three. Put the mesh filter in a bucket of fresh water before I turn off the system and brush the sand off.
