I purchased this sink after thorough consideration and return of 2 other sinks that did not work well with our kitchen style. This one was the perfect size, fit and goes well with our kitchen style. The installation was simple, the finished product looks great in my kitchen. It comes with every thing you need to know and the customer care response team is very good in answering questions if you have any. All in all I would give it 4.5 stars. Even after months we continue to get compliments on our sink. The only downside I feel in months of usage is that the basin couldve been a little more inclined so the extra water collected in corners would percolate with gravity. But its a minor con compared to all the compliments we get on it as well as the ease of use with it particularly with the inside basin grill that comes with it. Saves it from a lot of wear and tear and scratches. All in all It is well worth it compared to much pricier items. Thanks.

Im totally impressed with this sink. For the money (or a lot more money, for that matter) it cant be beat. Very heavy gauge stainless steel, and the clamping system in a drop-in installation is great. A little difficult to install in a 36 base cabinet due to the minimal clearance with such a large sink, but thats just how it is. A 10mm socket on a long extension helps. Very well insulated and the basket and drain hardware is top-notch. My only warning to potential buyers would be this: I installed this sink in a laundry room with a very tall sprayer faucet. The force created when moving the sprayer around causes the faucet deck on the sink to flex, breaking the caulk bead I put along the back of the sink. I had to fabricate a wall bracket to hold the faucet steady. Im not sure theres anything that they could have done to the sink to alleviate this, but its something to be aware of.

My home was built in 1927 and my kitchen is very small. This sink was installed in a 24 cabinet base. The installer had to remove a portion of the inside cabinet wall to install this sink but well worth the extra expense. My goal was to have the largest sink possible in this small space. This sink is deep and has straight sides making it look larger than it actually is. While this is a very contemporary and industrial looking sink it fits the style of my new kitchen very well with a stainless steel and black range and black fridge and dishwasher. This sink is sturdy and the 16 gauge stainless steel contributes to the sturdiness. I love the rinsing grid because I can wash large pots in the deep sink and leave them to dry overnight no longer requiring a dish drainer on the counter giving the kitchen a cleaner look. A garbage disposal was easily installed with this sink. Highly satisfied.

Best decision ever! Giant sink, easy to clean (assuming you clean your sink regularly, as I cannot comment on how easy it is to get goo out of the corners if you leave it until filthy). I say that because I was worried about the zero radius corners, reading all sorts of nonsense online about using q-tips and other nonsense. Not a problem- no q-tips used here! It’s installed in a 36 inch corner cabinet. Fitted our old Insinkerator, and the four holes allowed for our RO filter faucet, dishwasher air-gap, soap dispenser and faucet. We used the Forius faucet, which has a lot of pressure to reach all sides/edges. We are going to add a reducer to bring the gpm to 1.5 to the faucet shortly, because it’s too much spray in the spray mode and we are in California, which requires a lower gpm. One thing though- It was harder to clean before we used Gel Gloss kitchen and bath polish (available at many hardware stores in their cleaning section). It smooths down the ridges in the stainless, fills the pore and helps the water bead and run down in the almost flat bottom of the sink. It’s the kitchen safe version of Rainx. The flatness of a zero radius sink bottom is the other reason to have a more forceful spray on the faucet. After a few weeks of using the polish, the sink is smoother and easier to clean. The edges of this drop-in sink are raised, but wipe down easily. I like the raised edges better because I can manage how wet the caulking gets and reduce mold formation. Every undermount sink has black mold in the caulking and it’s difficult to replace the caulking when that happens a few years down the road. This sink sealed well to our Corian countertop and only required a thin layer of clear caulk to seal well. Installation is okay- there are clips all around the sink. The back has stabilizing pieces that will require a little fussing to get it to sit flush all around. It is very secure and sufficiently insulated that it is not loud and clanging when you move things around. The rack helped that too and to reduce scratches. It looks better (fewer scratches, and easier to clean) than our friend’s much more expensive sink with all the attachments. We use a silicone rack sometimes, but do not miss the integrated items from using her sink. We have had ours for a few months now, and it has been an amazing change from our too tight enameled cast iron sink that stained every time we put a pot in it. It’s so big that I do not mind washing dishes in the sink! Best sink I have ever had/used.

Love the quality of this sink. Made of thick gauge stainless and comes fully accessorized with drainage catch, plug, and grate. Very easy to install as a drop in sink with easy to use clams that accommodate thick counters. One minor thing is that it has very tight corners which makes it a little harder to clean - not a big deal but I notice other sinks of similar style have more rounded corners which does help with the cleaning. All in, very happy with this sink.

After doing a LOT of research on stainless steel sinks, and having thrown out our fair share of expensive 18 gauge sinks from box retailers because they rusted, dented, and scratched under normal use, we chose the Ruvati because its a high-quality product at a reasonable price. After 10 months of use, it has held up exceedingly well. Pros: 16 gauge stainless is commercial grade; thats as good as it gets The RVH8000 is HUGE but fits in a typical cut-out; you can soak large pots, pans and trays Its heavy! No need for undermount clips because the weight of the unit + silicon sealant will hold it in place Easy to install (and Im not a plumber) Well insulated; its quiet and holds the temp well when washing in hot water Bottom rack protects the sink from damage Packaging is excellent; the cardboard box is as impressive as the sink Still looks new after almost a year of use Cons: If you scrape food off your plate anywhere other than over the disposal opening, youll spend a lot of time with the sprayer getting it all down. Even when draining a full sink, youll still have food particles that wont go down without extra effort. And dont even think of dumping noodles or beans in the sink with the rack in place; major water games to get everything in the disposal. If Ruvati would change the pitch of the base a few degrees, it would be a perfect sink. If you are looking for a sink that will last for years, can handle large pots and pans, and dont mind the hassle of the low-slope basin that requires a lot of spraying to clean/drain, youll be very pleased with the Ruvati.

I purchased this sink July 5, 2015 after researching many months for just the right sink to suit our requirements. I wanted to be sure we had put it to the test of time before writing a review, and so we did! I am an organic, fully from scratch cook for a large family. I use every imaginable size of pot and pan, from small to huge cast iron and stainless steel. I have many salad spinners, colanders, mandarin slicers, sets of expensive knives, and dozens of bowls, flatware sets and serving trays, not to mention all of the dishes - oodles of them. The size of this sink accommodates them all as needed around here, sometimes with several in at the same time. This sink comes packaged as finely and elegantly as the sink itself, so the sink is well protected upon arrival. After almost two years of using this sink as a maniac cook who does nothing in a delicate way, I can attest to the fact that this sink can take a lot of beating with not a hint of marring or discoloration to it. After I clean it every night, it looks as good and new as the day we received it. It is a very heavy sink; it took two of us to lift it into the pre-existing countertop hole that accommodated the previous old sink, which was standard size: about one inch deeper than this sink. However, we got creative with the countertop to close that one inch gap left at the back wall. No one will ever be the wiser unless they crawl deep into the sink cabinet with a flashlight, turn upside down on their back and examine the countertop patch at the wall. Our guests are usually not inclined to do so. The stainless steel of this sink is very thick and cleans beautifully. The manufacturing seams are flawless. The bottom is flat, which was one of our requirements, so as to allow more stuff to sit flat. No space is wasted for setting things flat in this sink. It has no curves or pitches. We love that. We hated that our old sinks sides were curved and it was pitched towards the drain, which wasted a lot of the usable space. When we read reviews of this sink while doing our research pre-purchase, we noticed that some had complained about the flat bottom without curves and pitches. They commented that without those curves and pitches, the sink did not drain automatically, nor does all the debris slide down the drain automatically. That seemed like a trite and silly complaint to us. After all, to properly clean a sink and rid it of all debris, one does not just allow whatever is visible on its bottom to slide down the drain. There is much left behind that is not visible to the naked eye, and therefore the sink must be scrubbed out properly with cleaner to be sanitized. So, no matter if the sink has a 45 degree pitch, it still needs to be scrubbed out. I should teach a class on sanitation and hygiene to those complainers. If they are not regularly scrubbing out the sink with sanitizing cleaner, they do not have a clean sink! There is no sound, vibration or movement what-so-ever with this sink. It is totally solid and quiet as can be. The bottom rack is heavy duty and most sturdy. Our large cast iron Dutch Ovens full of liquid do not bend it in any way, even with the pressure of scrubbing them. The rack saves the bottom of the sink from any scratching or marring. Great addition! Even the rack is still in perfect condition after almost two years of heavy duty use and cleaning. This was one of our most excellent purchases of the whole house remodel. Amazons price was a great deal. This sink could last several lifetimes, so we are considering it a family heirloom.

4.5 stars - almost perfect with some general issues. Pros - This is a beautiful sink that really upgraded the look and feel of the kitchen sink. It is deep and can fill up a lot of pots and dishes with no problem. The dimensions fits perfectly and replaced our existing sink (dimensions were pretty much spot on). Theres a general slant that allows food material to flow easier to the middle. I never had a grill in any sinks I used before before but I really liked how the food flow under the grill without attaching to the bottom of pots and pans.It also protects the sink bottom from general scratches. The sink itself is pretty heavy weight and does not have any of the typical hollow sound that accompanied some of the cheaper stainless sinks. Cons - Because it is fairly deep, it does cut into the below sink cabinet space. The sink requires pretty frequent cleaning to minimize mold and grime that tend to stick to the corners. The grill also need periodic cleaning as grime tend to stick to the corners. The sink also attracts water spots and does requires a lot more wiping to maintain a clean look. Shipping and packaging was perfect. It arrived on time and was perfectly packaged. No complaints whatsoever. Overall - A friend commented that if she ever had her own place, shed want a sink just like ours. Im pretty happy with this sink - minus the extra cleaning required... it exceeded my original expectations. If youre ok with doing general wipe downs daily and want a stainless steel sink, this is the sink to get.
