So glad I forked over the extra money to buy this unit over some lesser products! It arrived unharmed, shipped very securely in its protective packaging. The darn box was built better than the sink I was going to use before I found this one. Very heavy gauge stainless steel construction and excellent sound damping. It is an absolute jewel that Im sure will provide many years of service in my home. Thanks!

I purchased this sink July 5, 2015 after researching many months for just the right sink to suit our requirements. I wanted to be sure we had put it to the test of time before writing a review, and so we did! I am an organic, fully from scratch cook for a large family. I use every imaginable size of pot and pan, from small to huge cast iron and stainless steel. I have many salad spinners, colanders, mandarin slicers, sets of expensive knives, and dozens of bowls, flatware sets and serving trays, not to mention all of the dishes - oodles of them. The size of this sink accommodates them all as needed around here, sometimes with several in at the same time. This sink comes packaged as finely and elegantly as the sink itself, so the sink is well protected upon arrival. After almost two years of using this sink as a maniac cook who does nothing in a delicate way, I can attest to the fact that this sink can take a lot of beating with not a hint of marring or discoloration to it. After I clean it every night, it looks as good and new as the day we received it. It is a very heavy sink; it took two of us to lift it into the pre-existing countertop hole that accommodated the previous old sink, which was standard size: about one inch deeper than this sink. However, we got creative with the countertop to close that one inch gap left at the back wall. No one will ever be the wiser unless they crawl deep into the sink cabinet with a flashlight, turn upside down on their back and examine the countertop patch at the wall. Our guests are usually not inclined to do so. The stainless steel of this sink is very thick and cleans beautifully. The manufacturing seams are flawless. The bottom is flat, which was one of our requirements, so as to allow more stuff to sit flat. No space is wasted for setting things flat in this sink. It has no curves or pitches. We love that. We hated that our old sinks sides were curved and it was pitched towards the drain, which wasted a lot of the usable space. When we read reviews of this sink while doing our research pre-purchase, we noticed that some had complained about the flat bottom without curves and pitches. They commented that without those curves and pitches, the sink did not drain automatically, nor does all the debris slide down the drain automatically. That seemed like a trite and silly complaint to us. After all, to properly clean a sink and rid it of all debris, one does not just allow whatever is visible on its bottom to slide down the drain. There is much left behind that is not visible to the naked eye, and therefore the sink must be scrubbed out properly with cleaner to be sanitized. So, no matter if the sink has a 45 degree pitch, it still needs to be scrubbed out. I should teach a class on sanitation and hygiene to those complainers. If they are not regularly scrubbing out the sink with sanitizing cleaner, they do not have a clean sink! There is no sound, vibration or movement what-so-ever with this sink. It is totally solid and quiet as can be. The bottom rack is heavy duty and most sturdy. Our large cast iron Dutch Ovens full of liquid do not bend it in any way, even with the pressure of scrubbing them. The rack saves the bottom of the sink from any scratching or marring. Great addition! Even the rack is still in perfect condition after almost two years of heavy duty use and cleaning. This was one of our most excellent purchases of the whole house remodel. Amazons price was a great deal. This sink could last several lifetimes, so we are considering it a family heirloom.

I moved into a condo with a small kitchen in 2017 and remodeled the kitchen. I took a chance and purchased this sink, of course, without seeing it. My contractor installed it, but he didnt complain, so I guess it went okay. The reason for this review is for you to see what it looks like after 5 years of use. Just like a new car, I cleaned it often and now I clean it when it starts to look a little grungy. Today, I did a thorough cleaning and it still looks good, I think. Ive done some dumb stuff to it over the years. While new, I dropped a large glass pumpkin on the edge and banged it up a bit. And then, in an effort to recycle a plastic toilet bowl cleaner bottle, I rinsed out the remaining contents in the sink leaving the permanent stains near the drain on the left side. I love the size, depth, and the single bowl. Its wonderful for everything...cant imagine anyone wanting 2 bowls. I didnt think I would be a fan of the bottom rinse grid, but was surprised how handy it is. You can leave something sitting on the grid in the sink and still rinse the sink. Its also a cushion if something is dropped. Since the pumpkin incident, nothing that has slipped from my hands has broken in the sink. The only con for this sink is getting into the corners to clean. Also, the grid is a bit of a pain, but a brush or Scrub Daddy takes care of that.

I needed a nice, functional and eye appeasing sink in my newly designed garage. This sink meets all of my needs. I didnt want a large fiberglass sink because Ill be mostly washing my hands and dirty rags and it would be an eye sore. The sink arrived with no damage. It was packed to prevent any shipping problems. I am especially thankful to the customer service Ruvati offers its customers. When I received the sink I noticed the mounting clamps were too short. I called Ruvati to explain my problem and they had the longer clamps mailed and in my hands within 3 days. I received them in time for the installers to do their job without disruption. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy a Ruvati sink again.

We had a flood in our kitchen in January. We had to replace almost everything! I purchased this sink because the description said it was exactly what I wanted! I like a huge sink that can contain all the water mess that we make while cleaning up. This sink is perfect in so many ways! If I could have an affair with an inanimate object, it would be this sink! I highly recommend this sink or any other sink by Ruvati! When we were having the sink installed by a so-called professional the person who arrived to install it led me to believe he had installed the clips that hold it in but he had not. After I paid him and he left, we figured out by trying to use the sink that it was NOT CLIPPED in! The plumbers boss would not do the right thing so I called the manufacturer to find out where I could get more clips, and Ruvati sent me replacement clips at no charge because of the trouble! Ruvati is the kind of company that makes me feel good about making a purchase with them. I highly recommend their products and will purchase their products again.

I replaced a smaller shallow bar sink. This is MUCH more practical. It works great to clean veggies etc. I love that it is deep and much longer (back to front) than the sink I replaced. This prevents water from splashing out of the sink. I also like the grid on the bottom of the sink and large drain basket. It was not hard to install. Mine is in an 18-inch cupboard, so it was tricky to get the clips that hold it to the counter on in such a small space. It does scratch, but so does my other stainless steel sink. It cleans up just fine. A pull-down faucet makes it easy to rinse down the corners.

We have had the sink over 7 months now and we love it. The sink came so well packaged first off which is always a concern when ordering online. It was scratch free and properly protected and also came in a black ruvati clothlike bag that gave it extra protection. We had no problems installing it and it looks super sharp especially compared to our old compartmentalized sink that was too small on both sides for bigger dishes and pots. We got tired of always having pots and pans on our counters instead of in the sink. We love the grate that came with the sink as well as the food catch which is also top notch. The sink is so easy to clean and just sharp looking. We will never own a double sink again! I would recommend this sink in a heartbeat and the only suggestion would be to maybe have the lip rolled for cleaner install. There is no rust, no scratches and it still looks brand new. My husband drilled a hole in it to accommodate our Insta-hot dispenser and that was super easy as well. Good Job Ruvati!!

We had looked at a LOT of sinks over the past several months but are so happy we selected the Ruvati--the quality of the 16 gauge stainless can immediately be felt and seen. From the cavernous basin to the finely fitted drain cup this sink screams quality as was immediately noticed by dinner guests who no doubt remember the previous ceramic one. Unlike many we looked at it, the Ruvati included the grate and drain--not to mention free shipping. We also looked in the big box stores and mega hardware stores but found only 20 gauge or 18 gauge offerings at best and they paled in comparison. OK, enough of the accolades--great sink, buy it, youll not regret it. The company is so proud of their product it came securely stowed in layers of rigid cardboard, then wrapped in a nylon bag to preclude any abrasions. Heck, it even came with what looked like a giant diploma (certificate of authenticity I believe). While I confess that some of the reviews claiming food sometimes doesnt make it to the drain without some coaxing--that simply comes with the territory with a vessel of these dimensions! Hope this helps!

This is a first class 16 gauge stainless sink. Since is 10 deep it cannot be drawn so it is welded. Perfection is what I would call it. Deep strainer basket. A stopper that actually works. If I were the manufacturer I would have put additional clamps on each side (close) to the single hole. A sink this size will have a large (tall) faucet and therefore someone will pull on the tall neck. The stainless will flex. Is this a problem? NO. However people tend to be abusive. Do I think this could cause a problem in years to come? I doubt it as it have to be deliberate to work 16 gauge enough to either crack or bend. Just my thought on what is a perfectly fine sink and well worth the money. And the 10 depth allows to was the dishes and not have to change a soaking wet shirt! 5 STARS EASILY!
