I was planning on replacing my kitchen counter tops and updating my sink and faucet. I was looking for an over mount sink about the same size for easy installation. I searched the big box stores and was discouraged because the sinks looked the same. I was hesitant to buy a sink on line without actually seeing it, but was encouraged by other customer’s reviews for this model. The sink seems so much larger than my old model, probably because it’s deeper. My contractor installed the sink with ease and felt it was a high quality sink. The bonus was a bottom rack to protect from scratches. I have experienced the same issue as others, that the food tends to stick to the bottom of the sink rather than going directly down the drain. I am hoping with practice, I can navigate my new faucet sprayer for easy clean up. If not, it’s easy enough to remove the rack for cleaning, The basket strainer was high quality and would have used it but couldn’t due to the garbage disposal installation. I especially like the shape and simple lines of this model. If I was to need another sink, I would definitely look at Ruvati.

This Ruvati sink is the bomb!! I had a 1959 cast iron sink for almost 25 years ... imagine the difference this gorgeous sink made! I paired it with a restaurant quality faucet (large and functional) and Im on my way to a chefs kitchen =) It goes well with my Subzero stainless fridge and my wonderful Miele stainless dishwasher. The quality of this Ruvati sink surprised me at first ... the 16 gauge steel is very sturdy. The handyman that installed it for me (20 minute install) was so impressed with the quality that he asked me for the information to purchase one for himself. He didnt believe me when I told him how much it cost (he thought it would have been 3 times what I paid). Ive been using my Ruvati for the past few months and I have no complaints. The included rack for the bottom is attractive and sturdy (just like the sink). The sink is easy to keep clean and shows little to no water drop stains (low to no maintenance!) I would recommend this sink to any and everyone ... it is perfection!

We had looked at a LOT of sinks over the past several months but are so happy we selected the Ruvati--the quality of the 16 gauge stainless can immediately be felt and seen. From the cavernous basin to the finely fitted drain cup this sink screams quality as was immediately noticed by dinner guests who no doubt remember the previous ceramic one. Unlike many we looked at it, the Ruvati included the grate and drain--not to mention free shipping. We also looked in the big box stores and mega hardware stores but found only 20 gauge or 18 gauge offerings at best and they paled in comparison. OK, enough of the accolades--great sink, buy it, youll not regret it. The company is so proud of their product it came securely stowed in layers of rigid cardboard, then wrapped in a nylon bag to preclude any abrasions. Heck, it even came with what looked like a giant diploma (certificate of authenticity I believe). While I confess that some of the reviews claiming food sometimes doesnt make it to the drain without some coaxing--that simply comes with the territory with a vessel of these dimensions! Hope this helps!

Unboxing this sink was a treat, it was like an Apple unboxing. :) The box is huge and marked on the putside, but then there is an inside box that is well padded and the sink is then inside a black fabric bag. Installation was a cinch as we were replacing an old two basin 8 deep sink. I did have to saw out the corners as they were curved and not squared. Sink clips were actually not a problem of three of the sides, but the rear clips didnt make great contact for me. I am going to try and get something together to help them clamp down properly. Also, only 2 clips per side, but I feel that the rear (where the faucet goes) could use a couple more to prevent flexing from tall faucets/sprayers. I specifically looked for 16ga sinks to try and alleviate this flexing, but since our faucet is 28 at the peak it still can flex when trying to spray out the far corners. Drain, strainer, and plug are included and look very nice and thought out. We have a disposal so we arent using it. Three of the 4 holes came with plugs that match the sink. Yes, it is expensive compared to some other single basin sinks, but the heavy gauge, clean construction, and attention to detail are hard to beat.

Okay this sink is beautiful and I love the size as well. I almost have it 5 stars but I have to deduct 1 because its not perfect. The only issue I have is that I was leaving the grate that it comes with on the bottom until I picked it up to clean under it as saw small rust spot from where water was sitting under the little black rubber feet. The spots rubbed right out but I dont know of they would if you left the grate there all the time. Of course the day after I took the grate out I washed a large pan in the sink and scratch the bottom of the sink. There may just not be a better design that exists and any grate would make small rust spots but Ive never had another sink with grate so I dont know about that.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for a new drop in sink for our remodeled laundry room. We were looking for something typical for a laundry room purposes, soaking clothes, but we were also looking for a place to give our dog a bath and possibly a place to soak dishes when the extended family shows up for holidays. This sink seems to be a good fit for us. We’ve used it more than anything to give our Shih Tzu a bath. Because it is deep, she isn’t as likely to jump out. The extra depth also makes it easy to fill a pail or 5 gallon bucket. The sink is very well made and was easy to install. The faucet we selected mounts directly to the sink basin. The extra heavy metal of the sink makes the faucet feel very secure. I did have problems with the two mounting clips along the rear edge of the sink. These clips wouldn’t stay in a vertical position. Every time I tried to tighten them, the clip rotated instead of clamping down on the sink. I came up with an easy fix that worked well. See the attached picture. I used a piece of ½” copper pipe, cut to length, to brace the clip against the side of the sink. The other six clips brace themselves against the side of the sink. As others have mentioned, the packaging is better than anything else I’ve seen.

We built a new home so I decided to try a new sink. At first I was very angry because before we even moved in, and it was just the construction workers here and the sink had a bunch of rust spots. However, I read one of the reviews and they suggested using bar tender, so I bought that and the spots went away and I havent had a problem since. We have been using the sink for several months now. I absolutely love this sink!!!! This is my first experience with a huge sink. I have always had the traditional sink that one cant lay big dishes down in. Now that I can lay the big dishes down to soak they are so much easier!!! I love it! I also love that when someone is coming over and you dont have much time to clean, it fits a lot of dishes. I can make the kitchen look cleaner in a few minutes just by quickly putting the dishes on the counter in the sink and it holds a lot of dishes. It is true that food gets stuck on the outer edges and you have to spray food out of the corners, but to me its totally worth it! It was a game changer for me because it has made washing big dishes so much easier for me. I also love the modern look it gives my kitchen because our house has a modern look. It is true that sometimes spoons or forks slip under the metal sink grid but its not a big deal. Also, you have to take the sink grid out to wash the sink, but its totally worth the hassle to me. I did notice there is a sink with a cutting board and a dish drainer that comes with the sink. I might be tempted to get that one if I had to do it over again, but overall I am very happy!

Well, it didnt really save us from a remodel, but it certainly lets us avoid it for a few years. The house is 25 years old and the original Kohler ceramic 2-basin sink was driving us nuts. The finish was hazy, the undersides of the rim were rusting (dont ask me how), there were several old (bad) applications of silicone caulk around the edges, the disposal was on the prep sink side, forcing us to constantly manage a strainer on the larger basin side, the larger basin was too small to hold large pans, and we were constantly breaking dishes on the basin divider as wed move to put them in the dishwasher. After months of looking and thinking wed replace the sink as part of a remodel, I decided I wasnt willing to wait that long. I researched several brands and retailers (including local brick & mortar) and decided to go with this unit from Ruvati (thanks Amazon for your wonderful review system). We chose it for the heavier gauge stainless, the low profile rim, the large single basin, the 4-hole design, and the 5-star rating. Everything came as described. Packaging is great, with the sink being enveloped in a large fabric protector. Instructions are simple and straight forward. We love the new look and the sink works great for daily use. Weve lived with it a week and have no remorse. It even makes our tile counters look not-so-bad. And theres this cool and ever-so subtle V on the bank sink wall under the Ruvati logo that you only see when you glance across the sink. Its hard to describe, but we like it. All in, were liking our kitchen a lot more and dont feel quite so compelled to immediately invest in a remodel. Amazing what a difference a well designed sink can make... I installed the sink last weekend. Its really a 2-person job, but I managed it alone. My install took the whole weekend, but 80% of that was dealing with my specific kitchen conditions. If it had been a simple remove and replace, it could have been done in 2-3 hours. In my case, I had to remove and cut down a few pieces of tile from the counter widen the sink opening a half inch and make room for the Ruvati. I took the opportunity to replace two old cracked tiles next to the sink, then ground down all the grout on the adjacent counter, applied new grout, and sealed before installing. Tips for install: tape the mounting hardware to the basin before setting, to keep it out of the way while dropping into the hole. And figure out where your disposal and drain outlet will line up. I switched from a 2-basin and the new disposal location was right where the drain pipe came out of the wall. That added a trip to Home Depot and 3 hours to the job. We replaced the garbage disposal flange and gasket, but kept the old disposal. Looks new from the topside, still works great, and avoided a $200 upgrade. You can avoid all those things by hiring the job out, but I figure I saved $500 doing it myself.

Bought this to replace a 2 bowl sink that was old and dinged up from 2 decades of trying to clean large pans. It was so well packed that I could tell that it would be near impossible to have shipping damage. The only thing missing was the 3 hole plugs that were suppose to be included. I wanted the 4 hole so that I could also have a soap dispenser and also mount the faucet 1 hole to the right of center, but I needed the hole plugs for the other 2 holes. Wayfair customer service was frustrating and played stupid. I doubt that I ever receive their 3 hole plugs. Ruvati is in Austin and so am I so I contacted them directly. They sent them via fed-X and they are installed. Now this project is complete. The sink is of excellent quality and is more useful than I was expecting. With todays house plans, where the kitchen is in the living area, it is the perfect sink. All my huge pans fit and can actually soak if needed. I also ordered the Ruvati faucet and I am very pleased.
