> 3 dayThis sink is amazing. Totally changed the look of my kitchen. It is huge! I wanted to go from double sink to single and this did the trick. I did not install the garbage disposal for now, I will try to use the supplied catch tray instead and see how that works. Keep in mind if you do want to use your disposal you will have to use a different drain. I could have used the one from my old sink if I wanted the disposal. The install was fairly simple to do by myself. I had to reroute some of the drain pipes so it took a few trips to the hardware store and about 5 hours to completely remove the old sink and install the new one. Also, you do not need and caulk to install this sink. There is actually just a thin edge that touches the counter so caulk wouldnt even work. You will need some plumbers putty for the drain. Removal of the old caulk was probably the biggest headache. I used the 3 hole with a delta faucet and soap dispenser. It looks and functions great. The 4th hole I used for my air gap. Hope this helps. It looks great! Before and after picture attached.

22-11-2024I researched a lot of stainless steel sinks. We removed our old cement utility sink in the basement and my wife wanted a large sink to replace it. There are some oversized stainless steel sinks out there but many of them are ridiculously expensive. This sink does the trick. It is big! It is an overmount which allowed me to use a standard formica countertop. The 16guage stainless is beautiful! The packaging was soo impressive. I ordered it from Amazon and was worried about the shipping with UPS throwing the thing around and having it damaged. It was packaged in a heavy duty box (that we still have because my wife thinks we can use it for something else!!) There was foam around the sink and the sink itself was packed in a velvet-like bag. It was like opening a bottle of Crown Royal!!! Ruvati really took all the extra effort to pack this thing well. It was easy to install - there was a template to use for cutting my formica top and it dropped right in. It is a quiet sink. I love my Ruvati stainless steel sink!

> 3 dayOkay this sink is beautiful and I love the size as well. I almost have it 5 stars but I have to deduct 1 because its not perfect. The only issue I have is that I was leaving the grate that it comes with on the bottom until I picked it up to clean under it as saw small rust spot from where water was sitting under the little black rubber feet. The spots rubbed right out but I dont know of they would if you left the grate there all the time. Of course the day after I took the grate out I washed a large pan in the sink and scratch the bottom of the sink. There may just not be a better design that exists and any grate would make small rust spots but Ive never had another sink with grate so I dont know about that.

Greater than one weekBeautiful sink...where my installer ran into problems though was with the mounting brackets. As you can see in the picture, theres no room on my counter in the front and back. The sink just dropped into the existing hole. And because the hook part of the mounting bracket is so small, it kept popping off while he tried to tighten the clamp and he had no room for his hands to get in the space to try and hold it together while tightening. He just said bad design as the previous sinks mounting hardware didnt have this issue. So its in place with the weight of the disposal and silicone under and around the edges.

> 3 day4.5 stars - almost perfect with some general issues. Pros - This is a beautiful sink that really upgraded the look and feel of the kitchen sink. It is deep and can fill up a lot of pots and dishes with no problem. The dimensions fits perfectly and replaced our existing sink (dimensions were pretty much spot on). Theres a general slant that allows food material to flow easier to the middle. I never had a grill in any sinks I used before before but I really liked how the food flow under the grill without attaching to the bottom of pots and pans.It also protects the sink bottom from general scratches. The sink itself is pretty heavy weight and does not have any of the typical hollow sound that accompanied some of the cheaper stainless sinks. Cons - Because it is fairly deep, it does cut into the below sink cabinet space. The sink requires pretty frequent cleaning to minimize mold and grime that tend to stick to the corners. The grill also need periodic cleaning as grime tend to stick to the corners. The sink also attracts water spots and does requires a lot more wiping to maintain a clean look. Shipping and packaging was perfect. It arrived on time and was perfectly packaged. No complaints whatsoever. Overall - A friend commented that if she ever had her own place, shed want a sink just like ours. Im pretty happy with this sink - minus the extra cleaning required... it exceeded my original expectations. If youre ok with doing general wipe downs daily and want a stainless steel sink, this is the sink to get.

> 3 dayI needed a nice, functional and eye appeasing sink in my newly designed garage. This sink meets all of my needs. I didnt want a large fiberglass sink because Ill be mostly washing my hands and dirty rags and it would be an eye sore. The sink arrived with no damage. It was packed to prevent any shipping problems. I am especially thankful to the customer service Ruvati offers its customers. When I received the sink I noticed the mounting clamps were too short. I called Ruvati to explain my problem and they had the longer clamps mailed and in my hands within 3 days. I received them in time for the installers to do their job without disruption. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy a Ruvati sink again.

> 3 dayNever thought I would find a 16-guage stainless steel sink online. Finding an 18-guage in the size we needed was hard enough. But this comes with a deep strainer and very sturdy stainless-steel grill to protect the bottom from scratching. Bottom grill fits perfectly. The only problem we had was this sink has very square corners, and our previous sink was more rounded. So an inside corner of a cabinet had to be cut to get one corner in. So make sure you have the room under your countertop for this -- the sides literally drop staight down.

> 3 dayThis sink is a beauty. Its large which fits cookie sheets, pots and pans. You can easily put a washing bin on one side and still be able to rinse dishes. Similar to the other reviewers it can be a bear to clean. Simply using the sprayer to rinse food bits down doesnt always work and I noticed some build up in the corners. If youre a neat freak this may not be the sink for you. We really like it and just need to double check after rinsing dishes that all the debris is in the strainer.

> 3 dayWe love this sink! Going from a double bowl to a single was so worth it. I went back and forth looking at tons of options and reviews before we ordered this one. This sink is huge. We can get multiple large Pyrex baking pans or the parts from my smoker inside the sink making clean up and soaking much easier. The rack for the bottom is great and protects the sink perfectly. The drain system is really well designed. My wife really wanted the disposal so I swapped out the drain and went back to the disposal with no issues. Advice - Use their included template for the cut out and it will install easily. The packaging was great, no damage at all in transit. Cons (minor and worth it) - It is stainless steel which is not perfect (scratches and shows water marks easier than others). The attached photos were taken at least a month after installing it to give you an idea. It cleans up nicely. - The sharp corners and flat bottom do lead to slower drainage. We have to spend a little more time spraying water to get the food debris down the drain but it is worth it. - Installation was a hassle. Going from a double to single sink requires more plumbing work and all plumbing requires multiple trips to the hardware store. The clips to hold it in do want to twist out of the way but it seems to be holding. A deep well socket was the easiest way to get it as tight as possible. My install would have gone easier if I had just used their included template for the cut out the first time rather than trying to make the opening as small as possible. In the photos I included a shot with the drying rack we ordered at the same time. I linked to it because we like this design so much but Im sure something similar will work just as well.

Greater than one weekThe Ruvati RVH8001 Drop-in sink is a great value in stainless sinks! It came securely packaged in a cloth bag and sturdy box. I did not unpack it personally but the contractor who did commented on its weight, heavier than average along with and that is good!. As for the installation, a previous drop in sink of the same size was being replaced--a couple of adjustments on the underlying clips, and this Ruvati dropped in perfectly. With a good selection of holes, a soap dispenser, a new faucet, and a dishwasher vent all found homes. The remaining holes are attractively covered with a gasketed stainless plug. A truly modern design complements most kitchens with bright stainless and square angles. The included grate (dont forget to take it out! My contractor almost threw it away with the box) is a nice addition to a beautiful sink. I would recommend Ruvati to anyone looking for a new sink!
