Clear instructions even specifically fro the PS5. It also came in very good packaging and the heat sink replaces the PS5s default cover elegantly.

This is a great product.i was running low on storage on my ps5.the ps5 only allows 667 gb of free space which is really nothing.so I see the sabrent 2tb on sale for 329.99 and I heard nothing but good things on this item.got it in a day or 2 later and the installation process was a breeze.turn back on the ps5 asked to format it and their I go 2 tb now on my ps5,I couldnt be any happier.

The ssd is very easy and quick to install. The only issue I had was the screwdriver that it came with was to small and I had to get a different screwdriver, if it wasnt for that I would give this 5 stars.

I was apprehensive when I ordered this based on a number of reviews that says it clocks slower than recommended for PS5 and/or that I would need to plug it into a PC to update the firmware. After a bunch of research, I took the plunge anyway. Worked great. Not 7000+, for which I assume I would need to update the firmware, but the PS5 recognized it as being 6300+, which is plenty for my PS5 needs. The heat sink seems really good, and other more technical review sites that can image heat and get accurate readings seem to think that the heatsink is very effective. Will update if this thing dies too quickly or something, but the price compared to other similar ssds with heat sinks, on top of this particular heat sink being explicitly designed for PS5, plus the ease of installation, and with the more-than-sufficient speed clocked by the PS5 all make this a 5-star buy so far.

I have only had this a few days, but it was super easy to install and is working perfectly. Transferring from one drive to the other is incredibly fast and I cant tell the difference from the factory drive to this one in speed.

Been looking for a internal ssd for the PS5 and did some research on different types of ssds and finally went with the Sabrent ssd. Its really easy to install you dont need to be tech savvy. Decided the 2tb was worth the extra money and more storage. So far its working good and the speed is also good.

Be sure to download and install the full 1 gig firmware update from PlayStation website. If the PS5 doesn’t see your thumb drive, try using a different one. It must be a 2 gig thumb drive. Buy this SSD because it comes with a heat sink that fits in the ps5.

I bought this because it was good value for the money. It’s been installed for about a month and working ok.

Very easy installation, the heatsink replaces the basic cover for the m.2 drive so you dont even have to stick anything onto the drive itself. Just peel off the sticker and put the cover on. Only thing that Id change is the way they word the speeds like youll most likely be close to the max. When in reality your most likely to sit around 80-90% of the max speeds (still great speeds) but just dont be mad when youre not getting 6k+ read speeds Would def recommend to anyone looking to buy extra storage for a PS5
