> 3 dayI have an iMac and I use a gaming keyboard and mouse with my iMac computer. One of the problems of this is that my gaming mouse and keyboard keep lighting up in the middle of the night while I’m asleep and while the computer is sleeping. So, I used to pull out the usb cords from my computer but I always worried that one day the usb ports would loosen. So it’s great that I can simply press a button to turn off my mouse and keyboard. I love this convenient usb hub very much!!

> 3 dayThis is the first dedicated USB hub I have purchased. (I own several keyboards and monitors with built-in hubs.) I needed it for a damaged PC with only one working USB port, because I wanted to connect a USB wireless adapter and a wireless keyboard and mouse adapter at the same time. The hub itself is very lightweight and has a super short cable. Neither of these are a problem for me, and in this case I actually prefer the super short cable. (The PC I use is inside my entertainment cabinet.) Above each of the four USB ports on the hub is a button that acts as a power switch for the port. I assume that you need to have the button switched to its on position (press it in) in order to use a port, but I havent actually tested plugging in a device without turning the ports switch on first. When switched to on, there is a relatively bright blue light LED stays on for as long as you have the ports power switched on. The light is on each switch, so if you have all four ports enabled then you get four lights. I would prefer a more subtle approach (maybe move the lights to the back?), but it doesnt bother me enough to take off a star. Not for the price I paid. The hub works without an issue with my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse adapter and my Edimax wireless network adapter. The PC that its plugged into it is left on 24/7 and is restarted a few times per week, and I havent had any issues with the hub. Those are the only two devices I have plugged in most of the time, but sometimes I turn on the power to a third port so I can plug in a flash drive. It works without issue. This hub actually isnt ideal for most people, Id say. Its only a USB 2.0 hub, not 3.0. The PC I use with it has no USB 3.0 ports, so Im fine with 2.0. If your PC has a super speed USB 3.0 port, then I recommend getting a USB 3.0 hub because it is far faster than USB 2.0. In addition, this port isnt powered. That means that whatever you plug into it has to be low powered enough to draw power from USB directly. Nearly all flash drives, wireless adapters, and other small devices are fine with this, but if you need to use large USB powered speakers or external hard drives, then you may want to consider a powered USB hub. In addition to plugging into a USB port on your PC, powered hubs also plug into the wall. If you only need small devices, or if your power hungry devices plug into the wall on their own, then you probably dont need to worry. That said, the hub can handle some power hungry devices. I once plugged an external USB DVD/CD writer, and it powered right on off only the hub. This is a great little device. Its also super cheap, and its just what I needed. If you need a cheap hub, then this is a good buy in my experience.

> 3 dayI like that it Is what is advertised and that it works 100% and all I would say for it to have 5 stars is I wish it had more ports and a bit of a longer cord but that’s just me personally! But overall it’s good quality and works just fine with almost everything you plug into it! Great product

> 3 dayAlthough my recliner has a builtin USB charging port, my phone and my Kindle require different cords. I had to switch cords according to which device needed charging. All too frequently both of them did. So I finally decided to get an inexpensive USB hub. This one appeared to be adequate. Its basically worked fine. Its well worth four stars. Its sturdy enough to hang from the recliners port and keep the two cords plugged into. I was a bit disappointed when I had both devices charging at the same time--it took a lot longer than charging just one device without the hub--but I realize now that would probably be a problem with any hub. When I turn three ports off when charging one device, its reasonably fast. So no complaints there. Should I ever need to replace this (assuming that it lasts a reasonable length of time) I would gladly buy another of these.

> 3 dayI bought this 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub because my laptop only has two ports and I need to use one for my USB wireless mouse. (I do not like using the touch pad.) Since I have had past experiences with computer crashes and lost data, I store all my “stuff” (documents, photos, videos, etc.) on USB flash drives. If I wanted to transfer info from one drive to another I either had to copy to my desktop and then to the other drive or disconnect my wireless mouse. While I am satisfied with this product, bit it does have both Pros and Cons that I will list here: Pros: • I can keep up to four flash drives connected to the hub without having to remove them once I’m done. Each port has an on/off button allowing me to only turn on the drives I’m using. • The hub is small and light weight and each port has a blue LED indicator light to let you know which port is in use. Cons: • The cord is only about 9” long, so the hub will dangle if the desk area isn’t wide enough. • The ports are very close together and it is impossible to plug USB flash drives side by side. I use only SanDisk flash drives, but other brands may be narrower and fit better. My solution was to use USB extension cables. Their plugs are narrow enough to fit between the flash drives. For me, the Pros out weigh the Cons. It allows me the convenience to have up to four flash drives connected and ready to turn on and use at a moment’s notice. I give it 4 stars.

Greater than one weekIf you need some extra USB ports for your desktop. This works fine. You can toggle the power to the ports on and off with the buttons. Easy to use and works well.

> 3 dayCreo que los puertos los hicieron un poco pequeños cuando introduje el del mouse no quería entrar igual el del teclado. La soga es muy corta pero cumple la función.

> 3 dayThis the second one I bought because it’s a good quality for the price. And I travel with my laptop that has one USB port so I can add devices easily and & I like that I can turn them off/on when needed. And I like that the cord is shorter so it can sit directly next to my laptop.
