> 3 dayIf you need some extra USB ports for your desktop. This works fine. You can toggle the power to the ports on and off with the buttons. Easy to use and works well.

08-06-2025My HP laptop only has two USB ports so this four USB port extension works in a pinch. I would have liked a longer cord to arrange all of my cords better. The cord on this is about 10 inches long.

Greater than one weekAs a USB switching device, this works great. I use three of the ports: one for speakers, one for camera, and one for microphone. That way, I can be sure that my work PC stays out of my home environment, except when Ive got a call or need to hear something from the speakers. (The laptop microphone is a bit trickier to disable, but were getting there.) There are two problems, though: 1) The lights have already started fading, so its tough to tell which ports are actually on 2) The lights are all the same color. This switch would be SO much more useful if each port were a different color. It amazes me how many pointless LED controls I have for my desktop components that I cant even see, but setting colors for something useful seems to be a major challenge.

> 3 daySABRENT 4-Port USB 2.0 Data Hub with Individual LED lit Power Switches. It can charge but not fast. The device works well and so do the switches. If you have a wide USB cable end to plug in then you might want to use a USB Short Extension Cable 6. The ports are close together. I was using 3 devices so I did not need the extension. But might in the future due to clearance. The hub does have a power connection on it but does not come with a power supply. I like it. Great for turning off your Webcam. There is a USB 3.0 version that comes with a power supply and I have that one also.

> 3 dayI bought this hub less than a year ago. I was plugging in a USB plug into one of ports and noticed one of the LEDs was off so i thought the switch was turned off. Turns out it was a bad LED. The port still works. I use the hub with a HDMI to USB adapters and i need to turn the port off when not in use because they stay warm even when the mirrorless camera connected to it is off. So seeing the status of the hub ports is needed for other devices as well. I contacted the seller and they sent me a brand new one. Thank you very much for the great customer service! As for the hub itself, it works with no issues other than one led not working. I have one at work that still going strong as well. I like that it is small and not bulky.

> 3 dayIt does not have a camera nor external power for better charging. Just a hub to connect your devices. Live the on/off switches so you dont have to unplug each device to disconnect from computer

> 3 dayThis is the first dedicated USB hub I have purchased. (I own several keyboards and monitors with built-in hubs.) I needed it for a damaged PC with only one working USB port, because I wanted to connect a USB wireless adapter and a wireless keyboard and mouse adapter at the same time. The hub itself is very lightweight and has a super short cable. Neither of these are a problem for me, and in this case I actually prefer the super short cable. (The PC I use is inside my entertainment cabinet.) Above each of the four USB ports on the hub is a button that acts as a power switch for the port. I assume that you need to have the button switched to its on position (press it in) in order to use a port, but I havent actually tested plugging in a device without turning the ports switch on first. When switched to on, there is a relatively bright blue light LED stays on for as long as you have the ports power switched on. The light is on each switch, so if you have all four ports enabled then you get four lights. I would prefer a more subtle approach (maybe move the lights to the back?), but it doesnt bother me enough to take off a star. Not for the price I paid. The hub works without an issue with my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse adapter and my Edimax wireless network adapter. The PC that its plugged into it is left on 24/7 and is restarted a few times per week, and I havent had any issues with the hub. Those are the only two devices I have plugged in most of the time, but sometimes I turn on the power to a third port so I can plug in a flash drive. It works without issue. This hub actually isnt ideal for most people, Id say. Its only a USB 2.0 hub, not 3.0. The PC I use with it has no USB 3.0 ports, so Im fine with 2.0. If your PC has a super speed USB 3.0 port, then I recommend getting a USB 3.0 hub because it is far faster than USB 2.0. In addition, this port isnt powered. That means that whatever you plug into it has to be low powered enough to draw power from USB directly. Nearly all flash drives, wireless adapters, and other small devices are fine with this, but if you need to use large USB powered speakers or external hard drives, then you may want to consider a powered USB hub. In addition to plugging into a USB port on your PC, powered hubs also plug into the wall. If you only need small devices, or if your power hungry devices plug into the wall on their own, then you probably dont need to worry. That said, the hub can handle some power hungry devices. I once plugged an external USB DVD/CD writer, and it powered right on off only the hub. This is a great little device. Its also super cheap, and its just what I needed. If you need a cheap hub, then this is a good buy in my experience.
