I absolutely recommend this to anyone who has a toddler that likes to unbuckle . There is no way it can be undone without a key or small thin object to put down in the hole to push the button. I use it to buckle the car seat in the car.

Good for kiddie seat - not for special needs . The buckle is smallish --- will not fit on many minivans and SUVs that I am familar with. It is to difficult to install and unlock due to its smallish size.

This seat belt lock is so easy to use and it works great. It just stretches to fit your buckle for easy install. My son was constantly unbuckling his car seat, but with this he cant unbuckle while we are driving down the road anymore!!

I am using this item to secure my dogs car seat/booster seat. The lap belt of my rear seat hooks into her car seat. I liked that I could actually lock the belt nice and tight so in case of an accident, her seat would be as immobile as possible. This way, in an accident, I know the lap belt is locked, and I dont have to depend on seat belt locking itself.l Also, the lock mechanism for the belt release button is also handy in case I am in the back seat, wrangling groceries and packages, and accidentally hit the belt release buttons. This is a great invention, and I wish I would have found it when caring for my grandfather who had dementia. I cant tell you how many times I would slow down the car to park, and he would be releasing his seat belt and trying to get out of a still moving car. I did have a little trouble getting the belt locking clip on my seatbelt. (I have a 2018 or 2019 Buick Encore). I took a little trial and error, but after about 5 minutes, I locked it where I wanted it.

When I arrived at the vets and opened the back door and my dog took off, I thought my seatbelt latch was broken because they ride in the car with a harness on and attached to a tether. I finally figured out what happene My large heavy dogs stepped on the release and the tether came out. It happened again so I was rather desperate for a solution. This is perfect. Now they stay put and safe.

The product is well designed and would work for most children. However, my 17 year old daughter (5 tall, 95 lbs) was able to break it and unbuckle her seatbelt, creating a potentially unsafe situation on the highway. Smaller and younger children probably would not be able to break this product, however. I should note that the manufacturer directly refunded my purchase immediately upon hearing about my experience with their product.

Love how easy it is to use and the peace of mind it gives me, knowing that my son cant undo his seatbelt.

The buckle is great, stays secure and in place but the seatbelt clip is horrible honestly. Its really hard to clip it on and when you finally get it, its easy for the young child to make the belt loose enough and slip out.
