This 1 TB EVO SSD draws less power than my older 500GB EVO, which is great!

250GB too small for my C drive, Operating System + Programs. Go for t he 500GB for a C drive, or, if you are an outlaw gamer, 1TB! Gonna lose my shirt on this, as Ebay is SWAMPED with 250GB at Dime Store prices. (And you thought a motor vehicle depreciated the moment you left the dealership!)

It is unbelievable how fast my 10 year old (2013) Asus laptop runs after upgrading from HDD to this Samsung SSD.

I bought it in January 2023 and so far I have had no issues. I had Hard Drive 100% problem with the original hard drive. After changing the physical hard with this SSD the laptop has become so fast.

Arrived in 3 hrs, that helped me recover a PC the same day the old drive died. Works well. Samsung is a premium brand with a price to match but one early failure from a less reliable brand will make the cost premium worth it.

Works as intended.

I replaced a failing HDD that was running between 25 to 80 mbs with the SSD running over 500 mbs. What a difference! The migration software worked as advertised and in less than 2 hours, my laptop was alive again.
