> 3 dayI bought this to replace the internal HDD in my older Dell Inspiron 5765 laptop. Admittedly, Dells used to be a lot easier to perform upgrades like this on; with the Inspiron, you have to remove the base completely and keep track of dozens of small screws. However, the Samsung device comes with access to some s/w that makes cloning and replacing the old drive a snap. I happened to have an external naked drive enclosure that I could run that clone process through; so be forewarned that youll need some similar enclosure or cable if thats how you want to use this. Its been running flawlessly for a month or so now and I am pleased as punch with the improved performance so far.

> 3 dayBeyond me, how a package this damaged even leaves the distribution center? I have owned this exact model of Samsung 4 Tb SSD for over a year, EXCELLENT product. That is why I ordered a second SSD of the same model. Upgraded to 4 stars, Amazon quickly replaced with a new properly sealed drive.
