I used this for expanding my Eufy security home base unit and it was so easy to install and format. Loading security videos to watch were instantaneous. Very happy with the Samsung SSD.

Ordered in the morning, delivered in the afternoon, installed in my PS4 Pro by night. Ill speak only for how it has performed in a matter of hours for me after I installed the 2 TB 870 QVO in my PS4 Pro. I didnt have anything large enough to back up my games, only my save data, which was sufficient.

Replaced my failing hard drive in my laptop with this. Very impressed with speed difference. Laptop has a mew ease on life.

I ordered this disk as a storage drive to record video to. Unfortunately, after around 40 GB of writing, the write speed drops below 100 MB/s. After doing some research, it turns out that this drive has a 42 GB cache that works at the promised 550ish MB/s r/w but once thats full the remaining space on the disk is absolutely pedestrian.

I ran out of space on my operating system drive so I was afraid I was doomed to re-setup my whole system. With Samsung, you not only get the hard drive but access to Samsungs downloadable programs that make an upgrade successful. I cloned my existing drive to a 2TB Samsung and was up and running in a few hours.

Very easy to install, and very fast, especially if you paired up with Samsung musician. This would absolutely meet your gaming needs and standards as games loading times have dramatically decreased compared to using a normal 7200 Rpm hard drive.

I wasnt able to use this when it was delivered, as it didnt come with the necessary cables, so beware when you purchase it.

I bought the 4T, probably hold all my photos, etc. for a long time. Downloaded Samsungs Data Migration software - couldnt be simpler !!! After about an hour, my PC turned off, & when I booted it up, my new SSD was up & running with lots of extra space. The old drive was offline, but I could still activate it as a backup - perfect !!!

I suspect a defect. 5 times within the past 7 months Ive gotten a blue screen and had to reinstall my OS. Earlier purchases of ScanDisk models have been fine. Back up your stuff if you are using.
