Very fast for an SSD

Still a bit early to say, but works quite well for a SSD thus far.

The SSD works great. Comes barebones, just the drive and a small paper booklet, no mounting screws, no usb-to-sata cable, but if you know how to replace a drive, you probably have all this stuff lying around anyway. Just know that youll need at least that cable if you wanna clone your drive. Im sure youve read enough of those before-and-after stories, so Ill just say that its much lighter, quieter, and faster than my old solid state hybrid drive.

I am a photographer and I trust my backups on this Samsung hard drive. It is my go to. I know that my info will be safe. It’s very well made. Easy to use and lightweight. I don’t cringe if it falls on the floor. I am so thankful for these SATA drives.

Bought two of these. One to replace a failed drive and another to go into an enclosure to back up to and it is a solid setup. Samsung generally has good quality control when it comes to SSDs and when I need something a little more premium, its what I reach for generally speaking.

Light, slim, and fast

First install was super simple, formatted the drive perfectly and began installing games onto it. A week later, nothing. Reseated the sata cables, changed the power cords, nothing. Not showing up in bios completely plugged in. My other SSD I boot from hasnt had a single issue for years, and I wasnt even going to use this one for booting just for storing games.
