> 3 dayI bought my Evo 870 exactly a year ago to run my xbox one x through it. Initially, the SSD was running amazing but over the summer I noticed that the performance started to slow down but not enough that I had to be concerned about. As November approached my Xbox console started to crash once in a while including loose of save game data, I thought it was a Xbox issue so I ignored it but my mid December my console started to crash almost every day including loose of data, again I thought it was a Xbox issue so I used all their recommended solutions like recovering the console, and power cycling it. The issue still continued which resulted me not gamingon Xbox anymore. I never assumed the issue was with my SSD due to Samsung great reputation in this category but after doing an extensive research I just found out that SSDs are dying faster than other SSDs regardless of which model you are running. For now I have switched back to my old HDD that came with Xbox one x and everything is running fine again. I am in communication with Samsung support via phone call but lets just say they are not understanding my problem properly. I dont have access to a PC so I cant take my SSD out of my xbox and connected with a PC to running their software mitigation program.

> 3 dayThis was an upgrade for my existing hard drive in an HP Pavilion laptop. The old hard drive was a regular spinning platter using the SATA protocol.

Greater than one weekThe QVO series has a serious failing -- large writes bog down badly. When the write cache gets full, the driver performance TANKS. The screenshot shows trying to write a file around 1.8Gb. As you can see, it was fast for a while, then dropped precipitously. At the point the screenshot was taken, it was showing 710 KB/s (Yes, KILOBYTES per second). It actually went to 0 a few times. If you never do much writing, the drive would probably be OK, but not for anything large. Buyer Beware! Luckily, Amazon return policy is very good.
