Through no fault of this product, the drive did not work in my 3- or 4-year-old HP 17-ak0 laptop, which was a bummer. I found conflicting information as to the port on the motherboard being NVME or SATAIII, turns out it was SATAIII. I got a SATAIII WD Blue 500 gb for the laptop and decided to keep the Samsung.

Replaced a 2013 model Samsung 840 with the Samsung EVO 970 Plus, huge improvement in just about everything. I should have made the switch sooner.

I have 2 installed in my PC & they run like champs!

Bought a new system that already had a 1TB standard SSD but the motherboard had an open M.2 slot that I was itching to fill. Noticable performance increase even compared to a standard SSD. Only complaint is the lack of a mounting screw. Are you serious? At this price point vendors cant include a couple of screws compatible with major mainboards? Luckily I had an old add-in fan card that had one I could scavage.

Amazing speed on both Read and Write at over 3000 MB per second. This drive is actually faster than the 970 EVO PRO, and priced the same. Get this wonderful drive, you will not be disappointed.

NVMe SSDs are the future. I was previously using a Western Digital mechanical disk drive when I built my PC in 2016, Eventually I got sick of the sluggish speeds and upgraded to this bad boy. Accessing applications and startup is nothing short of lighting fast. However, I ran into a very frustrating problem (that took hours to find on the internet) in which upon installation of the SSD, I didnt realize that it disabled one of my motherboards SATA ports making my main OS drive unreadable to clone into the new SSD. If you run into this problem, dont worry, as long as the SSD appears in the BIOS, just play around with the SATA ports until your main drive can be opened and cloned over to the SSD. Hopefully I saved you some time and hassle.

Instalación muy fácil, min placa tiene disipador térmico así q mejor por ese lado, 500gb para el S. O. La suit de adobe, office y algunos extras sin problemas.

Lo utilice en un computador HP de escritorio, lo instale yo mismo sin problemas, se extraña que no venga con el tornillo y el PC tampoco yo traía, así que toco buscarlo por fortuna si tenía, pero si usted no cuenta con tornillo será un problema. El aditamento si es soberbio, mejora el equipo en velocidad más allá de lo esperado, el trauma está en seleccionar que sea compatible y hasta que no esté instalado no lo sabrás al 100%
