> 3 dayAlso bought the ASUS USB-C external SSD unit. Installed this SSD into it, very quickly cloned the, almost completely full original 512GB (Samsung) SSD HD in my Lenovo YOGA 900 & turned it off. Opened the YOGA (easy, but TINY screws), saw original SSD immediately, quickly swapped the two SSDs, closed up the YOGA, then rebooted. Came right up as before, but now has A LOT more breathing room. However, I didnt think to benchmark speed before/after. It feels faster, but my principal goal was more memory & I definitely have that! ,

> 3 dayits relatively cheap, relatively fast storage with a dram cache. what else could you ask for? imo this drive is pretty much the sweet spot of what most home computers (including gaming pcs) need in terms of storage speed, unless youre regularly moving massive files around this drive is pretty perfect. do wish the box came with a standoff in case you forgot to hold on to your motherboards but its easy enough to find one. using it as a boot drive and some quick access storage with some older sata ssds and hdds as bulk storage and its great.

Greater than one weekI ended up paying another $20 for EaseUS software that Ill only use once because the Samsung transfer software totally failed to image my older 1TB HP SSD onto this new 2TB Samsung. Pretty disappointing. The EaseUS software worked perfectly, but plan on spending extra for software that works, or on reinstalling Windows and all of your apps from scratch and reconfiguring everything.
