Failed after just over a month, and unfortunately cannot be returned because it happened after the return window.

I replaced the small 512MB NVMe in my Dell XPS with this. Super speedy and reliable. So happy that 2TB is affordable now! (Its all relative, I know.)

Works great for read cache in a synology ds220+

Replaced a slower 500GB drive on a15 HP spectre 360. The installation was super easy. Used a Vantec external usb case along with the free Samsung migration software. I failed to include the recovery partition initially, but super easy to resolve that issue by clicking on all source partitions and rerunning the data transfer.

Memory reaches speeds as advertised on my msi z390 ace. Boot and load times are insanely quick. So happy with this stick. 11/10.

It was time for me to build a new PC, and I needed the best storage I could get. At under $500 for 2TB, this Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVME SSD is definitely worth the price. Solid performance, much faster than any single SATA III drives, and very easy to install into the M.2 slot on my motherboard. Definitely getting a second one, because of how big games are getting these days (RDR2, I’m looking at you...).

I have been buying 960 and 970 EVOs ( 6 now) over the last year and they all work great! This last one is for a RAID 5 cache for my NAS (Network Attached Storage) unit. Therefore I highly recommend them as they are crazy fast, easy to install and so far very reliable. My only recommendation is to make sure you go to the Samsung site and download their Samsung Magician software which will let you benchmark each drive and tell you if it is healthy or not. It will also tell you if the drivers and firmware are out of date. I cannot stress it enough MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE you install the latest Samsung Drivers and Firmware ( these are 2 distinct items) in order to ensure maximum performance and compatibility. For example, with the May 2019 Windows update, the NVMe drivers went back to the Microsoft version and this impacted the NVMe controller on my PC. Using Magician told me my drivers changed! Hence it is good to check every 3 months to make sure you are still running Samsung Drivers. Also the firmware is important to maximize performance.
